They failed to replace my car battery. After simply installing the new battery, we started to see a few types of alarms pop-up on the screen. Wish they would've simply said they do not know how to do it. We ended wasting almost the entire day, waiting then trying to install then finding an alternative option.

Right after we checked out of the hotel on our last day in Santa Cruz, we found ourselves stranded in the parking lot! It seemed that the battery had died! After trouble shooting several times, the reality was that we weren't going anywhere! Finally, Joe K called his 21st Century Insurance, for their roadside assistance help line. After a lengthy process of exchanging information, we were told that it would be about an hour before someone could come out. At least we were parked in the lot that had a beautiful view of the ocean.

Rick is the rudest person I have ever spoke to in my life. I can't believe this is a business. If there wasn't a law against recording calls in CA i would've recorded. He was absolutely rude, dismissive, told my father he was getting mad, wouldn't tell us how much longer it would be (we called AFTER the 75 minute mark), wouldn't tell us where the driver was. That was the worst experience I have had with a business person. Same with my dad. This man was talking crap about ME to my dad-- once i had my dad talk to him because he was SO condescending and insulting.

The dispatcher (who apparently is also the owner) was insanely rude over the phone. State Farm connected me with them and the dispatcher called because they needed an exact address. A corner street isn't exact enough for them apparently. Which is fine, I walked out to get the exact address and gave it to him (I may have been slightly snarky). Told him it was slightly insane that They couldn't find the street corner. He then began to question my initial directions. This company sucks the people working there are clueless, dumb and rude. Call roadside services for avis told me 60 minutes, called this company several times, 1st time we don't no call for roadside services, 2nd time be there in hour, 3rd time hour later the stupid lady said it's been cancelled. I told her where you going call or text to let me knowfreakin hung up on her. Me and brother ended up taking care of the issues. DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY

This company is unprofessional. They answer the phone with "Hello", no business name announced, when I asked if this is a business the response is "who are you trying to reach". The dispatcher is rude. I waited over two hours for someone to come to me, when I called to ask what was going on, they said someone is one their way, they'll be there soon. After another 30 minutes I called my insurance company to intervene. The tow company said they were stuck in traffic. Life saver!!!! I realized my battery was dead, with no ride or help to get it replaced. I thought I was going to be without a car at least until the next day, when another service I called, could be here. I just had the worst road side service experience
Used their agro tool to pin point my location. Used their notes section to let them know I was west bound on 84, 50 feet before university ave.
(This is a bridge btw, and university is the last light going east, first light going west)
I got a 75 minute ETA, waited.
The tech shows up, east bound and calls me scolding me, that they should have dispatched him from the east bay, not the peninsula.
- which is out of my control
Rationale- he would have to drive across the bridge and then back.

I give this company MINUS 5 stars! STATE FARM refers customers to ROADSIDE 24HR SERVICE Tow 'Company'~I would NOT recommend or bother calling this company when you are in trouble! The OWNER installed a new battery, which he said I needed. I called him at least 5 times after that for a battery charge ON THE NEW Battery; I told GERO--State Farm referral, on the last 'JUMP' that I believe I was sold a LEMON! Same person - RP - who installed battery and jumped my Mazda all those times, told me NO: Battery was G O O D. When the battery died and I took the car to a Mechanic, he said

I have only good comments for the service I received from Esmeralda.
I went down to my vehicle only to discover a dead battery so I called my Roadside Assistance team with Allstate and they connected me in minutes to this company.
In minutes Esmeralda called to tell me her ETA and she arrived 20 minutes earlier than projected by the first caller.
She was not only able to assess and charge my battery but tested and it had a dead cell so lucky for me she had a replacement in her vehicle and was able to install the new battery, warranty included - all in less than 30 minutes.

Costco insurance company have me used this service because my battery died. I waited over one hour and 35 minutes....slooow.
I waited in the cold..here comes this guy Rick said I should be so happy because it is a wonderful day. He base in San Carlos, I was in Palo Alto...no excuses for him to take so long. I called Costco road service before, was only 10 minuets wait. I asked him wait a minute so I can be sure my car really works. He ran off 7 minuets after arrival. I said no when he offered to give me a new battery for twice of the cost. He ran off the minute I said no. BTW it happened

This Roadside Assistance company did a WONDERFUL job this morning getting us out of a bind! We ran out of gas on the highway, and called them in a bit of a panic. The dispatcher sent an assistance truck to us right away (they arrived in about 10 minutes), and was kind and thoughtful throughout. Such a relief to have quick, friendly and efficient assistance available on-demand!

So I just had to write a quick review on this business. I was on the peninsula with my wife at a party, and I wont go into the embarrassing details, but somehow managed to lock myself out of my Acura MDX with my engine running. I called a towing service, but it was late night and the 1 hour wait time was going to be an issue. I found Roadside 24 Hr on my yelp iphone application and they were able to come right away as they were down the street. I got a flat tire in my driveway, last night (Halloween) as I was going to take my kids trick or treating. Insurance company dispatched a company who didn't want to make the drive to my location. Roadside 24 HR Service was dispatched and Rick showed up with in a matter of minutes, he even waited for me to get back to my house. He was super sweet, quick and very personable. He actually saved my night with my kids and it was a success! Thank you so much Rick you were AWESOME!!
