The quality of care this man provides is, in my opinion, extraordinarily substandard. He overlooks uncommon diseases in diagnosis and rushes through patient appointments. The first misdiagnosis he made lowered my quality of life significantly for approximately 5 years. After seeing him numerous times over several years complaining of possibly having a brain tumor due to migraines and memory/concentration problems, I went to him one day with a severe severe headache, vomiting, visual field deficits, etc. I was looking for answers. He chalked it up to a migraine and gave me pain pills. Well, a couple

Office staff handling calls are very rude, unpleasant and surprisingly comfortable with being unprofessional. Although it should not matter my call was coming from an office sharing care with a patient. Being a person who has experience from both sides it surprises me when I have these experiences with people who are in a field where friendliness and professionalism should be exceptionally and genuinely delivered no exceptions. I do hope adjustments are made to the person or persons responsible for taking calls, front desk etc. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I would not refer

All other doctors are open for business as usual. HE IS NOT! No flu shots, no exams, nothing but phone calls or teleconferences. Not the way to treat elderly patients!

Dr Maurer has been my physician for 25 years. He also is my wife's physician and he took care of my mother for a number of years before her passing. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and competent and has a great, friendly attitude. His staff is warm and receptive. I have only the highest praise for Dr Maurer and his staff, which has been earned over many visits and many years.

Dr. Maurer and his staff are great. I've never had a problem getting an emergency appointment on short notice and when I do schedule a routine appointment, I've never had to wait too long. Most people do not know how much paperwork and computer entry is required to get fully paid by Medicare. It's especially hard on small practices, so occasionally you might have to wait while the doc is completing his medical record entry.
