Keyhani Eye Associates educates and supports you as you explore treatment options for various eye conditions including nearsightedness, astigmatism, farsightedness, cataracts, corneal disease, dry eye syndrome, and glaucoma.
A comprehensive eye examination is an important part of your preventative health care since many eye and vision conditions present no obvious symptoms. A professional eye health evaluation is also critical to managing other medical conditions that may show symptoms in the eyes, such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
The human lens in the eye is normally crystal clear, but when it becomes opaque, we call it a 'cataract'. A cataract is NOT a film or growth that occurs in the eye. It is simply a cloudy lens. As the cloudiness worsens, it prevents light from properly focusing in the eye. Early lens changes or opacities may not disturb vision significantly.

I recently underwent dual cataract surgery, Dr. Keyhani, his staff and the surgical team at Hudson Valley Hospital were excellent. I felt I was good hands during the entire experience - all questions were thoughtfully answered and pre/post operative instructions were clear. The office is very efficient, I did not wait any longer than 5/10 minutes after check in to see a doctor.

My cataracts were very bad and I couldn't drive anymore. After Dr. Keyhani replaced my natural lenses and removed the cataracts, I could see better than at any time in my life. Not only that... His entire staff was very friendly and put me at ease. I was apprehensive about having the surgery but it was an easy and scientifically amazing procedure. I wish I had a couple more eyes so I could do it a few more times just for the experience. SIMPLY THE BEST.....BETTER THAN ALL THE REST
I first went to Dr. Keyhani after being diagnosed with Glaucoma in my 50's
and was so frightened...I asked Dr.K if I was going to go blind...he replied,
"Not on my watch!!!!" After years of care, Dr. K just operated on both of my eyes for cataracts and put stents in to alleviate the pressure. I am doing terrific! The staff, starting with Kathy & Liz.. going on to ALL the wonderful assistants & doctors... are incredible! They are knowledgeable, professional, and caring! I would not trust my eyes to anyone else!!!

I had upper eyelid surgery done by Dr Keyhani and couldn’t be happier. He was extremely professional from my first appointment to my follow up after the surgery. I would definitely highly recommend him for anyone who is looking to have eyelid surgery. Thanks so much Dr. Keyhani for giving me back my eyes. I can actually see them now!!!!

I have nothing but praise for Dr Keyhani and his excellent , efficient staff. He is highly competent, caring and answers all questions patiently and fully. I had cataract surgery on each eye and both operations went smoothly. I have 20/20 vision in each eye for the first time in my life after being severely myopic since childhood.

Dr. Keyhani is an amazing surgeon with a genuine care for his patients. My experience over the last couple of months have been wonderful from the moment I first walked into his office. His staff is efficient and polite. My two cataract surgeries were quick and easy without any complications. My eyesight was restored tenfold and now I don't need glasses! Dr. Keyhani was sweet and wonderful with a beautiful bedside manner at both surgeries. I am recommending him to all my friends.
