These are an important component of footwear. They accommodate, support and/or relieve specific conditions, as well as improve the foot's function. Below are just a few examples of custom orthotics. In addition to designing and fabricating an appropriate orthotic, a C.Ped can offer you personalized attention in selecting, fitting and modifying shoes, so that you can wear your orthotic effectively.

LICS was recommended to me by my ankle surgeon for a brace to avoid surgery. Phil, the owner is very nice and extremely personable. He takes a lot of pride in his work and the service is impeccable. He made casts of my ankles and had a great pair of braces made for me. I have been to different orthopedic supply firms, but Phil is by the far the best I have used. I genuinely enjoyed meeting him and the experience was great.

Attentive, but keep in mind there are No Return or refunds of any kind. I bought a regular selection of full price comfort shoes for $140 (not via a promotion, not on sale, not special order) and experimented wearing in my house (not outside) to see if relieved my foot pain. But not comfortable, so returned within a week, expecting refund. Would only give me a voucher.

Don't ever buy shoes from this man. I paid $115 for a pair of clogs for my sister, who must be on her feet all day. He talked me into Sanitas, claiming they're just as good as Danskos. She tried them once and was in agony, and he refused to take them back, claiming for sanitary reasons he wasn't allowed. BS! How many times have you returned a pair of shoes to Macy's? Were they breaking the law? I don't think so. I ended up having to sell them on eBay for $24. Not a good way to do business.

The owner *really* knows shoes. If you're seeking comfort - which can also be fashionable - come here. A salesperson will spend 1:1 time to find the perfect fit.
Shoes will be brought out to you based on your unique podiatry needs. I loved having someone else pluck styles that worked. The hardest thing was picking just one shoe.
(Be prepared to invest time in your schedule for this shopping adventure. Service is provided on a walk-in basis.)
My orthopedic doctor was right: There is only one place to shop.
Here.
