New Ming

This is my favorite place to go. I love her food it's very good and her sauces are made from scratch. She is a personable person.. she remembers my face and order and her food is always on time and taste so good.

The sesame chicken, beef with snow peas, and pork fried rice were all quite good. However, the lunch portions were small and the egg rolls tasted a bit off.

I ordered at 4:10pm.... Food arrived toy door at 4:25.

Probably the freshest veggies I have ever had in any place. I actually feel good after eating here.

This is one of Rochester's hidden gems.. the food is always fresh and delicious, and you don't get that heavily coated/deep fried/covered in sugared sauce homogenization you sometimes run into in other places.

I ordered the lunch combo now I have had so many Chinese restaurants and they always give good portions this is the first restaurant that I have ever been to that gave you such a little portions for over nine dollars you would think they would give you more food absolute rip off I will never be returning to this restaurant

I had the beef and meatball pho and steamed spring rolls. The spring rolls were fresh and flavorful. The pho was delicious. I ordered for delivery and the food arrived 15 min earlier than promised. I will try this restaurant again and recommend it to others. I highly recommended this place. Must try.

This is our go to place. Everything is fresh and delicious. They're way ahead of delivery time and remember small details if you're a regular, like your extra sauces etc. Delivery is absolutely personal even in pandemic mode. I know you they need a day off but wish they were open sundays. Thank you for always excellent service.

This is a hidden little treasure tucked away on Monroe. The menu is varied in cuisine and the place has a family-feel to it and you can tell they care about their customers. I have probably ordered from New Ming over 20 times in the past year and a half. I really appreciate the little details I have noticed. They always text me when my order is ready to be picked up, which has almost always been earlier than the estimated time. When I make a request for extra vegetables on a dish that usually doesn't have many, they remember to add extra vegetables on other dishes for me. I have also asked

Driven by here many times. Been a huge favor of other Asian places on Monroe. This is now my go to. Best Pho on the Ave. Obviously pick up, but was ready and great service.

This restaurant is awesome! The food is delicious and authentic cuisine... I moved here three years ago from Chicago, just found this treasure summer 2019. Now I bring friends and dates here when ever possible. I would hIghly recommend lunch, its a bargain... One of my favorites is the ginger and scallions cod, shredded crispy chicken, basil tomato fried rice, pork fried dumplings.
Karen is the owner, her parents are always there with a smile. Extremely nice people. You won't be disappointed!!

Great food! Been there 3 times and tried 4 different dishes. Food is very tasty! Service is great, very friendly and always smiling. Sake in the cup is good and strong! Definitely will be coming back. Brisket soup mmmm. Vegetables taste like they were just picked from the farm, sooo fresh!

They don't have air conditioning, so be aware of that if you are going there in the summer.

The food was great. They have food from several different countries and a good variety of choices. We went with a mango spring roll, radish cakes, and rice noodles with vegetables. All were tasty, and the service was fast and friendly. They kept our water full constantly, which was good because it was a hot day and we were thirsty.

01/18 I had the pork pineapple fried rice and it was okay I didn't really enjoy the pork maybe I'll try the shrimp next time & the pineapple was alright... We also had the duck fried rice and the duck was great. The fried dumplings could have been better but the buffalo wings were the best thing we ordered. I feel the fried rice is lacking a little in flavor but some ppl like that from the reviews. I want to try the mango chicken next time I order from here and update my review. I'll be ordering buffalo wings again too!

My husband and I enjoy coming here often. We always have a delicious meal and we have never had a complaint. We like to eat in, it is not the fanciest place, but it is clean and they are very attentive to our needs...

Steamed rice was missing from our order, which the driver brought back about 20 minutes later. It was nice of them to correct the order, and they even gave us 2 Cokes to make up for the mistake, but it made my friend's General Tso's chicken get cold while he waited for the rice.

The worst part about the experience was that, almost without exception, the food was terrible. The General Tso's chicken was stale, the pad thai was fishy tasting and pink and definitely not pad thai, the chicken in the pad thai didn't taste like chicken, the wonton soup was fishy, and the pork fried

Love this place! I've had a lot of pad thai, but theirs is by far my favorite. The food is always delicious and the prices are great! Highly recommend, this place should have way more business! The service is also great. I came here recently and was mind blown when my food came out 5 minutes after I ordered. My boyfriend and I love the chicken pad Thai and pho with beef!

What happened to this place? I've been coming to Ming's for a while. The food used to be amazing, notice the words "used to be". I honestly have a hard time giving this place two stars, I think I'm just doing it out of pity. Here is my most recent order:

Cheese wontons: just ok.

Pad Thai: disgustingly sour with a bright orange color. I actually couldn't even eat it and spit it out.

Pork Fried Dumplings: to much dough and didn't taste like pork...

Beef Pho: barely any noodles or beef.

Sesame Chicken: gross and grisly meat, didn't offer a white meat option

I used to get takeout from New Ming often, when I lived nearby. Haven't been there in a few years since moving to the 'burbs, but yesterday it was convenient to order from them -- I wanted pho, and I knew the kids would enjoy Chinese, so I picked up an order to go. Pho, pork dumplings, pork belly buns, and two lunch specials with fried rice.

Sad to say that the quality seems to have gone way downhill. The pork belly buns were pretty bad -- greasy, not flavorful, and the buns themselves were rubbery. The dumplings were extremely greasy.

The pho was OK -- not nearly as good as SEA&apos

Chinese food is a crossover cuisine for me and Vegan Husband, meaning we can each eat something we like without feeling like we bowed to the other one's demands. A place that has abundant tofu dishes while also serving pork belly is just what the marriage counselor ordered. We ordered delivery through the Yelp app, our stomachs already grumbling, which could explain the two appetizers + one entree each. At 55 minutes in we checked the delivery estimate, just when the driver pulled in the driveway. The many many styrofoam containers came out of the bag still warm.

Fried rice is the go-to guilty pleasure of Chinese food. Steamed rice and brown rice are the healthy options you should pick, but we all love fried. That said, I was pretty disappointed to find out that fried rice at New Ming is essentially steamed white rice...with some egg... That was a let down. But we'll move on.

I also ordered the sweet and sour chicken. It was pretty standard. I also got the braised pork belly buns, which we're definitely a let down when Han Noodle sets the golden standard. The buns were small and the slices of pork were tough, dry, and very thin. My friend ordered
