I lived here for a year. It was ok. The windows were bad, you could feel the draft. Other then that, it was ok. I moved out 4 months ago, and they still did not refund my security deposit. I have called many times and left voicemail, no calls back. I send emails no one answered. I went to the place on the weekend, front desk told the manager will contact on Monday, nothing happened. I asked for breakdown why they do not want to give full security deposit, they charge cleaning fees and other fees, I left the place like no one lived there, did professional cleaning and they still charge me. Please listen to the comments before moving here! I have been living here since November and no matter how many times they fix my central air/ heat unit, it doesn’t work! I’m so feed up with being here that I have decided to take my kids back to GA this weekend so I can save up enough money to move out. Imagine being in an apartment that’s 85 degrees every day and your light bill $180 every month! My apartment is a sauna literally! Tired of me and my kids sweating everyday because the air doesn’t work! My neighbor is having the same issue also. Please find somewhere else that’s suitable

Cheaply made apartments, bugs, dog poo & litter from residents, poor maintenance... And unsafe holes around property, which I asked about many times. Then my dog got hurt.
[Update: Uncovered water manhole covers -- fixed now, but unsafe water drainage holes in potty area near our building that are still there. Animals or humans could get hurt twisting their ankle or even falling into it. I would try putting a tall stick in the ground from time to time to alert people; they eventually get taken by kids or weather knocks them over.]
Looking forward to leaving at the end of our lease. Maintenance

Potomac Vista is an enormous joke, if you have signed on with this inept company
I feel bad for you and have advice for dealing with them.
First of all, do not believe what they say when you're touring. There is no $500 gift cards available for you if you sign that day. That is a blatant lie. They will tell you you misunderstood and that in fact, that promotion applied to a different set of apartments on the property. I have heard from several people that this trick has been employed to get them to sign quickly.

This place is absolutely the worst apartment I have ever lived at!! I wish I could write negative stars!!! First off I've heard an absurd amount of times about bed bugs going around the community. They say they keep up with pest control but yet we still have found cockroaches, crickets and there's always so many ants!!! The windows aren't insulated very well at all so when comes winter you are going to be paying a VERY high electricity bill or freezing to death.
