Anyone living in the great city of Chicago during the 1990's couldn't help but be immersed in the Bulls total domination of the NBA. Michael Jordan was the king and everything he touched (or endorsed) turned to gold, including the iconic men's clothing store Bigsby & Kruthers. So, when it came time to name our golden retriever puppy, the tie to the Bulls was a given.
We are passionate about supporting local causes that are important to our team members, our customers and our neighbors. We will do our very best to accomodate a broad range of non-profit organizations. In order to have the greatest impact we prefer to focus our efforts on animals and art -- both causes that are near and dear to our community.
Great wine begins with great grapes. Not having a winery tethered to just one remote vineyard allows us to source the best fruit possible. By bringing the vineyard to our guests, an unsurpassed wine experience is accessible to all - wine enthusiasts and novice drinkers alike. We maintain an unprentious and welcoming environment that supports relaxation, and encourages learning and creativity for those looking for something more.
Let us make your private celebration, meeting, corporate, social or philanthropic event an unforgettable experience. Our versatile space, with over 7,000 square feet and 4 distinctive dining areas, can comfortably accomodate groups from 15 to 300 guests. Food and beverage minimums apply and may vary depending on the number of guests, space requested, day of the week and time of year.
Our tasting room combines modern industrial style with the natural attributes of its historic location. The J. George Leyner Engineering Works plant (now Bigsby's Folly) was built in 1886. Leyner revolutionized the mining industry with a series of novel rock drills which improved the health and safety of drillers at this turn of the century and even to this day.

The space and service are all excellent and the staff was super friendly. They weren't snobbish about trying to find a seat for us even though we were walk-ins on a Saturday evening. I can only rate it 4 stars though because I thought the food was so-so. If you're coming here to just enjoy a few drinks and nibble and pick at some apps, then it's perfectly serviceable. But the apps aren't very good by any stretch of the imagination and all kind of felt stale and lifeless. We ordered:
The spinach and artichoke dish: dry, not very cheesy, gritty, huge chunks of artichoke, and

My wife and I continue our tour of our new city with a visit to Bigsby's Folly. This place was recommended to us by my coworker, and we had high hopes for it. The space is amazing and has a ton of room, it didn't feel crowded although it was full.
My wife ordered some wine which she enjoyed, I got a non-alcoholic cocktail which was great. I think had we stopped there, this would be a slam dunk 5 star review. Our experience was this is a great place to get a drink, Quick and friendly service. We spent a total of 22 minutes there.
We also ordered some food. Olives and Almonds, the green

This is a great spot, my wife has done a number of work events here and happy hours and took me with her to check it out.
I loved the look and feel of this spot, and the wine options and overall taste of wine was great.
Their food selection looked amazing, the only downfall was that I haven't gotten a chance to actually try any of the food yet just drool over the options.
I'll need to come back to try to food as well, but even with my high expectations I have a feeling I will not be disappointed.
Great service, beautiful atmosphere and solid selection of wine and foods, everything

I've been dying to try out this wine bar/restaurant for almost a year now, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I'm obsessed with the decor and how cozy it was! They offered a wine and charcuterie pairing as well as a wine and macaroon pairing! We did one of each and loved it. The macaroons were a bit hard, but other than that, the rest of the food was great! I have a feeling this will be a regular spot for me

My husband took me here for my birthday back in September. This is a great place to go out with your girlfriends (and/or guy friends). Only downside is, the brunch menu is small (but good) and the high table seating isn't really comfy. I'm very very picky with my wine, and they have some great options! I definitely recommend their shrimp avocado toast off the brunch menu! I am definitely coming back to try out the dinner menu.

What an awesome spot for date night! It was very crowded so glad we made reservations. The building is huge and reminded me of an old giant barn. I loved the light fixtures on the ceiling. All the wine we tried was fantastic! We had a variety of food including the spinach artichoke dip, charcuterie board, and flatbread. I highly recommend the elk sausage flatbread and was happy they were able to help with a peanut allergy with the charcuterie spread.
Staff was very helpful too on making sure our glasses were full and giving good recommendations since I'm not much of a wine guy. We will

We made reservations through OpenTable for a wine tasting on a Saturday at 11am. This place is a bit out of the way and slightly hidden, so our Uber driver had a tough time locating it. It's such a cute spot though and has a fun in-the-barn feel.
It did not get very busy while we were there and the waitresses were attentive. For $35 each, we got 5 very generous pours each and shared a charcuterie board. The wine and food were delicious! After our tasting, we opted to get a few more glasses of wine and flatbread pizza. One disappointment was we decided to buy a bottle and were charged for

I came for brunch. I was here many times in 2019 and early 2020. I had their new Grand Valley, Colorado orange wine with my cheese & charcuterie platter. I followed with a glass of Paso Robles Merlot and their Avocado toast with chili shrimp. Noise level was quiet with soft music. No Flat screen TV's, this is a winery after all. There are places in Centennial,CO that think TV's are good. They are off Brighton Blvd by car or Lyft. Or take the "A" train from Union Station. It's only $6 for a local day pass since your not going to the airport.

I love this place! I've been here a few times - for group events, date night, and girls day-drinking! On all occasions I have been so impressed.
First things first, the wine. Obviously this being a winery, it needs to impress. And it definitely does. They have delicious a delicious merlot, riesling, pinot noir, and everything in between! You can get flights or pours by the glass. And they even have bottles to go! They have lots of fun merch with their Bigsby dog on it - super cute & great marketing for dog lovers like myself :)
The food is also really good too! They have amazing truffle

OMG! This place is beautiful!! There was a wide wine selection and I love that they also serve cocktails! The service was phenomenal and the food and drinks were fantastic!
I had the Togarashi Seared Tuna, Reserve Trio and a glass of Rosé. The tuna was a little overcooked- it looked more like pork than tuna, but still delicious! The mango and avocado on the side paired very well with the tuna- very light and fresh! The reserve trio was amazing! I'm happy I went with that option as opposed to their other flights. I always like to try the reserve wines because why not pick the best option

Absolutely loved this place! The restaurant is super cool, in a part of RiNo I'd never been. Had a bit of a hard time finding parking but the place was worth it! The service was great - the hostess was awesome & our server was super nice. Our only complaint was that the food was a bit cold but they fixed it. I went for Denver restaurant week and did the wine pairing- it was perfect!
-The spring minestrone soup was quite good
-The rhubarb water test salad was very different and very enjoyable

Loved the atmosphere, good wine and food (got the margarita flatbread). The wine is expensive. Eighteen dollars for one 9oz glass! They have a disclaimer of the 9oz pours having an extra charge but it's randomly placed on their menu. Not sure why they wouldn't just put the price on the line of each wine like the other prices. Server was awful. She greeted us and wanted to leave so we could check the menu. We had already been there long enough to give her our drink order at least. The rest of the evening was like this. Waited too long to get a second round of drinks. Then she just disappeared

This spot is awesome! It is a really great winery. We came here for a tasting and loved the vibe of it. It is spaced out for COVID precautions. It is decorated like a true winery and the wine selections are awesome. We had a red wine and rose flight and each glass had a great pour. They also gave a complimentary glass of wine for each of us which was a nice touch. The service was great, they were very nice and efficient. We mentioned it was my birthday and they brought me cookies. So sweet!
We really liked this spot to chill, drink some wine, and chat. This place is a gem! I'll be returning

I finally made it to Bigsby's Folly and am so glad I did! Even during Covid times with no indoor dining, we had a great experience. We made a reservation and were seated on the patio which is adorable and well appointed with heaters. I am super excited for when indoor dining is safe again because the décor is beautiful and looks like it would be super cozy to sit by the fire on a chilly night.
We were given a complimentary glass of mulled wine which was a perfect touch to warm us up. We ordered some wine flights which were all explained to us. I am detracting one star because I thought the

Absolutely love the charm of this place! Classy, yet casual. You can go in jeans or dressed up. There is something for everyone and every price range. The food is spectacular and has so much flavor- I was honestly shocked. I enjoyed the wine flight option, as I couldn't make up my mind for which red I wanted.
I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!
