I usually go to Spacialty Z or Precision Z but took my daughter's G37 to RG instead for some much needed TLC. Too much condensation and thought there must be a leak somewhere and a much needed alignment. Got a call back within a reasonable time and a clear explanation on the work needed to get the car fixed. Car ran great after without issues. Now I found a local shop in Santa Clarita.

This is the first time I’ve ever been to R&G. While I was sad to learn of my longtime mechanic’s retirement, I was greeted by the friendly and courteous staff who asked me to complete some online paperwork before taking my vehicle in for service.
The work was done quicker than expected and at a much lower price than I had anticipated. In this day and age I often look for poor service, ignorant personnel, and overall incompetence. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff here. I think I found my new home for automotive repair and maintenance needs.

I brought my S197 Mustang to RG Brakes to perform an inspection, replace a worn sway bar bushing that I was aware of, and install some aftermarket suspension parts. RG Brakes texted images to me during the inspection process to keep me informed of what they found, including problems I wasn't aware of: their technician identified a leak from the A/C compressor and worn engine and transmission mounts. Very professional and efficient.
I went there to get a new tire mounted prepared to be there at least an hour. I was done in less than 20 minutes!!! Service was great from the beginning with Magi the receptionist to end with Marvin who mounted and rotated my tires. They were both very courteous, kind, professional and efficient.

I dropped off my car this morning to get some service. I had the pleasure of having Magi assist me in my needs. I arrived early and I didn't wait long before I was helped. I was only there to get my catalytic converter engraved thru a free program, yet they treated me like any other paid customer, even thought they were busy with several paying customers. The friendly attitude and professionalism shown by all the employees I met, was outstanding! It definitely convinced me that if I need any of the services they offer, I would go to them. Was a good experience overall.

Unfortunately I got stuck here on a drive from LA to Oakland. My belts were making noise so I took it here to be sure I’d make the drive safely. Long story short I spent 6+ hours waiting on my car, where they replaced at least two components that didn’t need to be replaced and charged me 980 dollars. It was a complete waste of my time, and money and I was sold services I didn’t need, meanwhile I’ve had to take my car back to a reliable mechanic in LA as the belts started squealing again and spend even more money that I don’t have. These guys really helped us out in a pinch. We had a horrific experience driving on the 5 and the grapevine, and our tire getting totally damaged. After hours waiting on the side of the road with semis roaring by, and calling tire shops while waiting for the tow truck, we found these guys. They had a replacement tire in stock and graciously stayed open so we could get there, get our tire fixed, and get back on the road for our vacation! They were super friendly and cool. We were quoted by the lady working $297 for rear roter resurface and rear brake pads. My husband went ahead and had the work done. When he went to pay all of a sudden price is $430?! When he asked for the total for service we expected it to be the total, how do you not include the cost of parts in the total price to a customer and make no mention that parts were not included in that price?! I have NEVER been quoted for brakes or any car repair without the cost of parts being included in the price, if it's not included say that. They waited till the car was done to add to the price, terrible

WoW!! If you need your car or truck worked on go to RG!! i have used them about 5 times now for getting my tires aligned and they do an amazing job. I have a 17 Taco TRD Offroad with some mods. I do very much like to overland and hit the trails! This inevitably leads to my tires becoming misaligned. I shopped around over and over trying to find a place that would set the alignment to where my truck needs to be. You see when you add aftermarket suspension, tires, and especially upper control arms all the factory specs no longer apply. Throw em outta the widow! The other four shops I dealt with said

Horrible service! I went last week because I needed 3 things done: oil change, clean the engine, and check the AC because it wasn't working. I arrived at 11 am. Left my car and they called me at 2pm to tell me if I wanted to fix the leaking with a new valve cover gasket and change the spark plugs. So I said yes I needed that work done. And they were going to call me when it was ready! Hours passed by and the manager never called back to let me know when it would be ready! I went there and everything was closed! That's UNACCEPTABLE! Causing me to being ubering that night.

Vehicle is a 2019 Dodge Challenger, and from the factory, they look like they could go four-wheeling, sitting really high on their suspension. I got a set of Eibach lowering springs, and started calling around for installation quotes. Sam at RG had done a car for me a few years ago, and I was totally satisfied. He quoted me over the phone, and was right in line with the other shops, but I know he's got all of the high tech equpiment. I made an appointment for installation.

I got a call on my cell phone from the owner of the shop. He was cold calling previous customers to find out how the service was. I told him about my yelp review and about the issues that I experienced while I was here. He immediately told me to come back for a complete refund. While I was there, we discussed possible issues and he told me exactly how he was going to address the problem. I was blown away by the level of service and I appreciate his refund without even asking me to change my yelp review. This is the kind of thing that will bring me back.

This past time I brought my car in, it was going to need to be there for several days and they were kind enough to give me a loaner car while my car was being repaired.

Had to get wife's jeep alignment done after installing leveling kit. Setting up an appointment was easy and they got to work on the vehicle within minutes of arriving...they were on time as far as I was concerned! The service was very good and since I hadn't eaten bfast yet, their guy who was running out to pick up bfast burritos for the guys working there even picked me one up (I paid for mine of course).
Great shop and I'll be using them for my alignment issues in the future. Sorry, I do my own brakes and other wrenching but will definitely use them when I need their services
