Super affordable when it comes to maintenance as well as the accommodating staff. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get some work done on their car.

This place was recommended by a friend who has lived in the area most of his life! They are AWESOME! I just moved into the area & haven't really gotten know my "local shops" & who to go to & who not to... especially finding a realiable mechanic. That search is over! Very friendly staff. Brought my vehicle in for a diagnosis and they had an answer for me which was a cheaper issue then two other places told me. If you are looking for an honest place that valued customer service this is it. I will definitely come back with other vehicle problems in the future.
Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had a check engine light on and needed a smog check so I called Shy (the owner) to see what I should do. The check engine code said it had something to do with a leak in the fuel system so Shy recommended that I change the fuel cap and then come by and he would check the system again. I did this and then he reset my engine light system and told me to come back the next day to check it again. The next day it was still saying there was a small fuel leak so he said come back tomorrow. Finally, today the system read all good and I went and got my smog test and passed. The guys at Ace Automotive are always incredibly patient with me and helpful, even when I’m being super awkward or ignorant about my car (which is often). They are honest about what they do or don’t handle and have always referred me to other excellent shops to take care of aspects of my vehicle’s care that they don’t handle themselves. I’ve always dreaded anything to do with car repair, but every time I go to Ace, I’m reminded that I don’t need to dread it anymore because my car is in good hands with these guys.

They fixed 3 issues with all pertaining to coolant leaks. They repaired a bent tube from the heater core which could of cost over a thousand dollars if they had replaced instead. Very happy with their work and cost of it. This was my kids car and they didn't have much to spend so, we will definitely be using them again!! Also very polite and clean shop!

First time customer. Took my 2006 Lincoln Mark LT to ACE because it was miss firing and AC was not working. ACE diagnosed both problems quickly and repaired them at a fair price. Shy was direct and fair and did what he said he would do. Highly recommend if your looking for a mechanic. I will be a repeat customer with my other vehicles.

I had a noise in my car I was sure it was the belt and I came in and they just fixed it right away with no charge or anything. The bolts were just loose and when I asked how much I owed them they let me go with no charge. Great people and great place and I am a happy customer I will definitely be coming back

2 stars generally mean someone would go to a place again if someone else really wanted to and was paying for it, but the reviewer didn't care for them. 1 star typically given when they wouldn't go there for any reason, even if it's free. My "feelings" and those of others who visits this shop don't matter and therefore I wouldn't return here, even for any free services.

This seems to be a business that lacks customer service, makes excuses for not having it and being unable to gain/learn it, but also then tries to belittle the customer

These Guys took me in right away when I had a problem with my tire. They took care of me, made sure I could get back on the road safely, gave me all the information I needed, and didn't charge me a dime. Friendly, immediate service. I'm grateful to them. Highly recommend ace automotive.

I spoke with Steve and from the get go he was very helpful over the phone. I brought my car and met Shy. Steve and Shy explained to me what was wrong with my car and suggested what work should be done. Their price was fair as well. My car is running smooth again! I'll definitely come back here. Made an appointment for oil, transmission & brake fluids exchange + Filters. Dropped of car and was provided transportation back to my residence and picked up and returned to Ace when car was ready. Couldn't be more pleased with service & professionalism. They even rotated tires at no cost and to top it off total cost of service was very reasonable.

Going to a trustworthy mechanic is as common as finding a needle in a hey stack, finding SOMEBODY THAT that will shoot you straight on things is pretty rare i am a 23 yr old male that is pretty handy with most things i am no mechanic but can fix the minor problems and i like to but against my own pride and ego and dealing with a busy schedule i took my truck in to the only mechanic my family and i trust they are fixing my truck as we speak but i cant tell you how much of an awesome experience it is. I was travelling to Los Angeles and my car broke down in Valencia. I was towed to Ace Automotive thinking the worst and I remember Evan, the tow truck driver saying what a great mechanic Shy was over there and that he'd get me back on the road in no time, plus it was a Friday. First off, this has been the worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic. Right off the bat, the front desk mechanic, Shy, was extremely rude. From the first phone call, I should have already known what kind of a service I would be receiving if I brought my car to this place, but I was desperate to fix my car so I took the chance. Came to this mechanic shop in a bind. I was heading on a trip with some friends and we had minor car problems. I needed to check if the problems with interfere with the long drive.

Steve and Shy were able to take a look at the truck even though it was at the very end of the day on a Friday. They were very honest, knowledgeable, and helpful. My 2007 Toyota Tacoma hit 100K miles and it was time to get the water pump changed out for some preventive maintenance. I thought about calling the deal but then remembered how much they quoted me and it was expensive. I naturally started my search on Yelp for another place to take it and I came across Ace. Read some reviews and said this is the place to go! Very good service and cheaper than the dealer. For any future vehicle repairs, I will be calling Ace back.

Efficient, fair rates, good work. We'd just about given up in our '03 Mitsubishi Montero but Shy was able to bring it back to life!
