We had a pre-concert dinner tonight and couldn't have been more pleased. The decor was modern, warm and beautiful. We started with one of the evening's special appetizers, a crostini with burrata mozzarella, prosciutto, shaved black truffles, and micro greens, which we loved. We shared another special, the Chilean sea bass in a light lemon butter sauce, and their classic lasagna with meat. Both were equally good. For dessert, we shared the Bombolini - the perfect dessert for two to share. Our waitress, Jasmine, was delightful and the service was well-paced so that we were able to

What an experience! The food was delicious -- we had the octopus, the burrata with spec, the sausage and rapini pizza, and jidory chicken -- as well as an apple dessert. The service was exceptional, the management went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of (we were celebrating a special occasion for my boyfriends' recent promotion) and it was our first time dining, so to say we were impressed would be an understatement. We will be back, for sure. Thank you, Hugo, Elena, Macario, and staff!

However, the truffle butter popcorn left much to be desired. The butter gave the fluffy white popcorn a nice savory coating, but it wasn't evenly dispersed. I'd say that maybe 1/3 of my popcorn actually had the truffle butter on it, which was definitely a disappointment and definitely doesn't even remotely compare to the one at BIN38.
The salumi plate was pretty good, with different types of cured meats, slices of crunchy buttered crostini, and ground mustard. I thought it was a little weird that they didn't give us small plates or utensils. It's okay, it just made hovering over the tray more

The food was great but the restaurant packs too many people in. The tables are on top of each other. You have zero privacy when conversing. They have some booths but they really have way too many people inside. I liked the food very much and the service was good. But I would stay away or go on a less crowded night not a weekend

We had a light dinner here before a show at Ahmanson. Vespaio is conveniently located near the gaggle of DTLA theater venues clustered around 1st and Grand. The place is pleasant with a beautiful main room designed in the modern style that was popular in the 1930s and early 1940s. Lots of sconces and circles, swirls and tall windows. Staff told me the restaurant was build in the 2000s, so kudos to the designer. Reception checked for vaccines, which was nice.
The food is good, tho it falls short of remarkable. Eggplant Parmesan was technically flawless; it was tender and perfect temp served in

Came here for dinner before a LA Phil show and was one of the worst LA dining experiences we have had in quite some time. The service was poor.. took 20 minutes for a server to come to us. The food was exceptionally bland and the B rating on the front door sums it all up. We went here as most other restaurants were booked.. and can see now why they had availability..so book early my friends and avoid this joint unless you want lukewarm pasta and an overpriced sad salad.

This place is in a gorgeous and convenient environment however there were a few issues during our time here. The first being the time it took for us to get any type of service beginning with just basic water, and evolving into taking ridiculously long to just put in our wine and food order. It took just as long for the food and wine to even hit our table which made us have to pay the bill when food arrived in order to make our show in time. The second issue is the price compared to the food. The food is good, nothing amazing to really justify the hefty price tags. They also gave us a cheese pizza

The staff and ambiance were great, music was amazing. Cocktails were absolutely amazing. The food was good, but not great. Portion sizes were far to small to justify the high price you’re paying. For example, the $24ish dollar Ravioli dish had 6 regular size raviolis. Not the big raviolis you expect at a place like this, regular size raviolis. Would not return because spending $50+ per person and not feeling satisfied or full is unacceptable. We literally went to another restaurant afterward. Again, everything about our dining experience was nice except the food, cost, and portion sizes.

Prices are ok. Food was mediocre. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
Was visiting the broad museum next door, decided to get a snack from this place due to the close proximity. Ordered a coffee and a prosciutto Panini. Both items were eatable but mediocre. The panini was super salty and had no other flavors.
It's ok. Quick and easy but don't expect much out of the food.

This is my 4th time here and the service is always great and food is always delicious. Tonight I had the pork chop. It was very delicious and so very tender. I recommend coming here for business, date, or if your attending a show at the Music or visiting the Broad.
If your are the go they have a nice little coffee and dessert shop.

All right this is a review after our second visit. Saturday evening so it was extremely full and if there is one word I would use to describe it would be rushed. From our server to the the kitchen. I do not know if they were caught by Siri rude and hopefully this was just an unusual occurrence.
The food itself also in a word seemed rushed. We had to inform the server that the Branzino filet still had some fins and unfortunately bones within the filet. The taste was ok but again I am going to chalk this to perhaps to trying to reload and redraft after the pandemic situation.

If I could give it 0 stars I would, I did a take out and everything on the menu sounded delicious. So we ordered calamari, eggplant parm, and the salmon. Literately the saltiest food I've ever had. I called the restaurant spoke to the manager and she said, "can u bring back the food so we can inspect it." Mind you, I
Had already tossed the entire thing in the trash. Because I was so frustrated with this 80$ take out to be such a fail. I couldn't scoop everything out the trash, package it, and travel back to DTLA from WeHo.
*eggplant parm wasn't even breaded*

Service was very good. He could have filled our drinks more often or served the drinks in a larger glass. The pizza was very tasty but it was supposed to be a margarita pizza not a cheese pizza with a basil leaf on top. The Wagu hamburger was probably the best burger I have ever eaten. I would definitely get that again. All in all it was a very nice meal. The restaurant itself is very pretty. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We'll be back!

Made a reservation online for a special occasion. I generally love Italian food. Ordered the Tagliatelle Verdi Old Fashioned Beef + Porcini Ragu and Risotto Parmesan, Rosemary, Filet Mignon Au Jus. Both plates were decent, but the portions lean towards the smaller side.
The tagliatelle was handmade, thin, and a little chewy. The beef mixed in it was delicious and there were a few mushrooms. Would have enjoyed the dish more if it was hot. The pasta was all stuck together in a clump, not soft enough. As for the risotto, it was rich and creamy. Filet mignon was a bit too salty, but cooked just right

Absolutely delicious food - the burrata appetizer was delicious. The goat cheese and beets salad is really good and light. The highlight is definitely the mushroom risotto - the flavors are so rich and delicious. The veggie pizza is good too - I don’t usually like artichoke on my pizza, but I was pleasantly surprised. Their wine and dessert lists are awesome too. All in all, a great spot!
