We at Hans & Harry's Bakery are committed to creating & producing classical desserts & cakes by using the finest of ingredients. Our goal is for our customers to truly enjoy their experience from the time they walk in to their very last crumb. The owners strongly believe in taking on a "hands-on" approach to groom & train the staff so that the high standards are always achieved.
Our plain croissant filled with an almond paste butter, topped with sliced almonds and powdered sugar. Sugar coated puff pastry baked with almond paste & sliced apples, finished with an apricot glaze. Danish dough filled baked with frangipan filling, topped with sliced almonds and snow powder. Our sweet danish dough, filled with cream cheese icing & raspberry jam, topped with snow powder.
Traditional brownie topped with fudge icing & chopped walnuts, cut into bite sized pieces. Each package contains 18 pieces. Chocolate cake mixed with ground almonds and almond paste, sliced & dusted with powdered sugar. Each package contains 12 slices. Heart shaped vanilla cakes w/ chocolate chunk dispersed throughout, dusted with powdered sugar.

This used to be my favorite place, but until today I got over charged by a manger name Veronica and she was so full of herself. This is unexceptionable for what she did and she is a manger while training another employee without saying sorry or apologizing for her own mistake. Shame on Han and Harry's Bakery should not have a manger like Veronica. I only purchased 6 items and 2 Strudels and she charged 7 items and 2 Strudels. Customers please be aware and make sure she charged you correctly. I will never coming back

Really good bakery. I waited an hour and a half on Christmas Eve 2021 to buy the fruit strudels, something I would not recommend doing. Please do yourself a favor - and avoid waiting in line for a ridiculous amount of time - by ordering fruit strudels two weeks in advance for Christmas.
Besides the strudels, I also bought tiramisu, brownies and chocolate chip cookies. They were all excellent.
I look forward to coming back to get more baked goods; hopefully with less of a wait time.

Tip: You can order online to save on waiting time (and securing what goods you want) - you do need to order like a day or two earlier though to use the online system.
Also, the fruit tart only comes in its full-sized form so if you're gonna try this as a visitor, you should order it early to give yourself time to eat it all :)

I was directly behind Alex S. in line. I waited about 20 minutes which was great considering how small the storefront is. Alex S asked for a Buche Noel but didn't want to pay the price. I bought 2 directly after they left because they slipped and fell on the floor and rolled (literally rolled) out of the door from embarrassment. They said I was a lucky customer that won a prize and gave me a cookie and a tour of the bakery. I come here every day now for my daily Bran Muffin. I don't even like muffins but these bran muffins hit different.

Delicious fruit strudels, DELICIOUS chocolate croissants, DELICIOUS fruit croissants and amazing lemon bar. The people there are super nice and friendly. They are very prompt in what they do, but with care. We have ordered from them a few times and they always have my order ready at the time I chose. We will be returning to Hans & Harry's in the future!

Hans & Harry is one of those places that is famous, even amongst real home-grown Sun Diagans. Tucked away in a nondescript area of Bonita, it is a bit out of the way from the rest of the city. However, it is definitely worth the drive and the wait for some of the most delicious baked goods in all of Southern California. My late father was a pastry chef. I am acutely aware of the painstaking attention to detail that is required to produce products of this quantity and quality on a regular basis.
Absolutely no need to second guess yourself, because every choice is a stone cold winner.
If strong black coffee went to the Oscars, it would bring Hans and Harry as it's plus one. Or two. Whatever, the important thing is to go see for yourself.

Hans & Harry’s Fruit Strudel is a delicious pastry dessert that is sure to please a crowd! Went early on a Monday to avoid the lines and make sure that I could claim one of them before they sold out. Also grabbed a slice of cake with Bavarian cream with raspberry preserves that was amazing! The birthday girl was very pleased, as were everyone who celebrated! Highly recommend!

Hans & Harry really is a South Bay treasure. We've been coming here for decades, literally. The fruit strudel is a MUST HAVE for any occasion. The strudel is perfectly crispy, yet soft with each bite. The cream filling is perfectly whipped, smooth, and not too sweet. I can rave all day about how delicious the fruit strudel is, but they have other amazing treats as well such as their cookies and their cinnamon rolls! The cinnamon rolls are so humongous and FLUFFY!!! Their cookies are decorative and sweet.

Every pastry is buttery and rich. Their respected puff pastry tarts are so thin and flaky they're a must!!!
My favorites are the muffins. They're enormous enough for two or three servings. They're so decadent and richly honor their flavors. I've never been dissatisfied with the variety of muffins. The bran muffins are topped with oatmeal. The raspberry swirl muffin is topped with brown sugar and so is the cranberry orange infused muffin. You can see the poppyseeds on the lemon muffin and also the walnuts on the banana nut muffin because they're bursting with flavor.
