We're proud to be one of the biggest bread manufacturers and distributors for restaurants, delis and hotels in San Diego and Los Angeles Counties. Established in 1964, California Baking Company is one of San Diego's biggest wholesale bread manufacturer.

California Baking Company produces more than a hundred different types of breads, rolls, hamburger buns, bagels, ciabattas, and focaccias, using various recipes of white, wheat, rye, squaw, sourdough, pumpernickel and more in many different presentations!Our company uses industrial ovens, various cooling rooms, large-scale and high-end mixing, forming and baking machines.
Services
California Baking Co was one of the first bakeries in Souther California. It was established in 1964 with the name of "Balboa Baking Company". Then in 1993 the company's name was changed to California Baking Company, which it has held since. Between 1963 and 1991 our bread factory was located in University Avenue, then in Miramar between 1993 and 1997, and then in Point Loma until 2006.
Large enough to serve big accounts, but small enough and flexible to cover your speciality requests. California Baking Company is not only a bread manufacturing company, but it's also a service and delivery company. We offer daily bread delivery service six days a week to all of San Diego and Los Angeles counties.

I LOVE your french rolls, found them at Smart and Final, we also sliced them in pieces and used them for our Spinach artichoke dip instead of chips! I really want to try your bagels, but can't find you anywhere in San Diego, except Smart and final and that is just the Wheat and french rolls. been to Sprouts, you're not there :( Here's looking for you!

How is it possible that your Ciabatta Bread has only 10 carbohydrates per bun? Also, the Sqaw rolls are also very low in carbohydrates. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thanks.

I like a lot of your sliced breads, the buns are better than average and it's a nice lighter bakery. Just not sure if it's legal to sell those things you call "bagels" as bagels...
