Kays deep fried sushi roll was absolutely amazing! The food that I ordered chicken Philly cheese steak had a lot to be desired. There was a lot of bread some dried up chicken a few sauteed onions. I might would have given them at least three or four Stars based on the sushi roll but Sandra the waitress was not the best attentive waitress. My sushi roll was ready for a good 10 minutes and the woman that made the sushi roll told Sandra two times and Sandra let it sit on top of the counter until she brought us our food. If that wasn't bad enough she looked me in the face and lied about it. I asked

They have Takeout ordering enabled on Yelp but when I went to pickup my order I was told "sorry we don't do that." I ordered a chef salad to go and paid, again, for my order. I had to call GrubHub to get my refund but ok, they were nice and helpful. I waited about 15 minutes for my salad and boy was I disappointed! I asked them to hold the egg and they did so. But the salad was lackluster - brown lettuce, a bit of ham, a bit of turkey, a bit of bacon, about a tablespoon of cheese - no tomatoes, no croutons. They did give me an extra container of dressing. Kay's is one of those old fashioned family friendly diner vibe and they have a plethora of different menu choices. They are appropriately limiting occupancy and have abundant hand sanitizer for you to use. The wait staff was very nice and patient with us as we navigated through their menu.
The food smelled great and tasted pretty decent, but it wasn't anything special by any means. For the price, it was fair. I don't think I'd come back on my own, but would accompany friends if they wanted to come and eat here.

07/20/2019 was the day we visited. We had a party of two people and had very slow service even though the restaurant was practically empty at 6 PM. The sushi was good but our waitress was terrible: she kept chatting with people who didn't appear to be customers for literally 10-15 minutes at a time when we needed water, our food was ready and she took several minutes to grab the food, after taking our cards she set them down and we had to ask someone else to check us out, and the worst part: she ADDED ON AN 18% GRATUITY FOR 2 PEOPLE WITHOUT TELLING US. I am a regular @ Kay's and enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is a nice place for family and friends to enjoy a meal. The waitresses are all so friendly especially Gracie!! The food is very good and a wide variety to choose from. The owner Kay is very warm also and has a sushi bar to enjoy for those who like sushi. A must try!!!!!

What a joke. Walked in with a party of 5 at 6pm on a Sunday. Two tables with two people at each, about 10 people at the bar. No greeting. Took 5 minutes for someone to come to our table to give menus and say "We don't have sushi today. The lady that does sushi is off on Sundays". Shouldn't that be something you include on your website or advertise? Since majority of our party wanted sushi, we left.

My review is going to be very brief because I did not come in to dine. I only came in with my family to sit down and chat. I did try the fried pickles that my parents ordered, and I can say that they were good. My mom compared them to her favorite place that serves fried pickles and said that they were close to them.

Best of both worlds; fresh sushi, country cooking and bar..lol. Wife loves her sushi but not me so this was good choice. Has TV to watch the games near the bar area. Wife really enjoyed her Dragon Roll; freshly made, rice was moist, eel was delicious. We also shared a bowl of homemade vegetable soup; flavorful broth and it was delicious. I had the roast beef, mashed potatoes and green beans, all delicious and had the homemade taste, just wish the main portion was larger.
Our only issue was one waitress for a Saturday evening which took some time for patrons but she was on top of it.

This is a work place lunch spot my coworkers frequent sometimes. Not as much as used to now that there are some other choices also close by.
The service is kind of hit-or-miss. Sometimes the server is awesome and stops by frequently. Sometimes the server is terrible, has an attitude, gets your order wrong and stops by only to drop off the check. You honestly never know what you're gonna get, even from the same server. It's understandable that people have bad days but that is no excuse for poor service.

Meh. It was ok. Nothing to brag about. At the table, they gave us cornbread and bread as an appetizer. My coworkers didn't seem to impressed with the items they ordered either.
Oh wait, I forgot I found hair in my salad - the last three or four bites left (thus the three stars). Didn't complain about it though, germs are good for the immune system
