Our classically trained teachers use the Pilates method in one-on-one sessions and group classes to help you understand your body, connect to it, use it mindfully, and challenge it to grow. We teach out of our studio in The Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, Colorado and were voted Best Pilates Studio by 5280 Magazine Readers three years in a row.

We also offer an Online Face Pilates Course to help you exercise and massage the 50+ muscles of your face, head and neck.
Services
The Pilates method is a unique form of movement designed specifically to reeducate your body as you go through the exercises. Through awareness and practice, you acquire more efficient and effective movement while improving alignment. You recruit and strengthen what is weak, you stretch what is tight, you move what is stagnant and neglected, you improve your mind-body connection.
Kinesis Pilates was voted Readers' Choice for Best Pilates Studio in 5280 Magazine's Top of the Town in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Our boutique studio moved to the second floor of the Stanley Marketplace at 2501 Dallas Street in Aurora in 2017. We carry top-of-the line Centerline equipment from Balanced Body and offer private lessons and group classes.
In-studio group classes are available upon the completion of the Starter Package. Our classes are limited to five people and our machines are spaced six feet apart. Gray classes meet on Zoom. Face Pilates class requires that you take our Intro Face Pilates Course first. This 12-lesson online program will be available Sept 2021 to do at your own pace any time.

Kinesis is a cozy studio where the classes feel like semi-private sessions. All the teachers are great! The variety of equipment and classes offers something for everybody and all levels.

I first started seeing Sophia almost five years ago after repeated problems with my lower back. I'm happy to report that in the past five years my back has not gone out once. Sophia has an amazing ability to see the tiniest movements in the body and how they affect the rest of the body. With private classes she tailors an exercise routine specifically to each person to address their needs and bad habits. Highly recommend Sophia and her team!

I've taken Face Pilates with Sophia Briegleb twice--I love it so much! Sophia is the best Pilates instructor/all around teacher I ever had. If only I lived in Denver, I would take every class she teaches. She is so knowledgeable about human physiology, and how all our systems work together, and this gives so much depth to the practice she teaches. Her instructions are easy to understand and her energy is warm and positive. I can feel her caring, support and enthusiastic, encouragement through my computer screen. Face Pilates is particularly helpful if you suffer from jaw/neck tension, stress headaches

After experiencing sciatica and pain in my feet, I hoped to ease my pain through Pilates. Having worked with Sophia during her training, I knew that her understanding of anatomy and the importance of form would be a great fit. Sophia worked with me to improve my bad habits and posture, and after a month of private lessons, I was pain free. Private lessons may seem like a big investment, but being able to heal my own pain has been priceless. I wish I could give Kinesis more than 5 stars!

When I met Sophia I wasn’t new to Pilates or to virtual lessons. What made it special was Sophia’s encouraging teaching style, her attention to my body and its particular needs, her in-depth knowledge of anatomy and her ability to use Pilates as a healing tool.
Don’t be fooled by the virtual mode, she sees everything and is able to make minute adjustment to improve my practice. I can’t recommend her enough!

Kinesis Pilates is a great place. Whether you are new to Pilates or experienced, Sophia meets your body wherever it is. Her comfortable teaching style along with her knowledge of the body and extensive depth and breath of learning Pilates makes anyone feel at ease and at the same time perfectly challenged. I have had the opportunity to attend a few classes with various instructors and always felt great after each class. Kinesis Pilates is a warm, welcoming, and comfortable studio. And Pilates is the best exercise.

COVID 19 has normalized the virtual life- zoom meetings for work and get togethers with friends are now routine. I had my first zoom exercise experience with Sophia from Kinesis Pilates during the pandemic. I was a bit nervous at first-how would she see me to make adjustments, could I cheat on the exercises? It turned out to be just great. With a little tweak of the computer and a mirror to look at myself-it worked perfectly-even for a Pilates beginner! I started taking classes at Kinesis to help manage my lower back pain. I have never taken a pilates class before and didn't want to trust just any studio.
They came highly recommended for teaching the traditional style and the staff has not disappointed.
Private sessions have been wonderful to introduce me to proper form and achieve a comfort level that moved me into group classes.
Each instructor is knowledgeable in my condition and prepared to make any adjustments in class.

Kinesis Pilates Studio is fantastic! Which has much to do with the teachers there....they are knowledgeable , professional, and top notch at what they do! I have been doing Pilates on and off for several years. ( started going many years ago after I ran a marathon and did something to my hips)
