In the words of Joseph Pilates: "In ten sessions, you'll feel the difference, in twenty you'll see the difference, and in thirty you'll have a new body." Joseph Pilates, born in Dusseldorf, Germany in 1880, dedicated his life to physical fitness. After overcoming childhood illness and disease and working as a nurse during the first World War, Pilates created a type of exercise to strengthen the core and realign the body.
Pilates Bodies is a fully equipped, client-centered Pilates studio founded on Classic Pilates instruction. We also incorporate modern Pilates exercises and philosophy to create versatile, individualized fitness programs. By combining strength building, stretching, coordination, control and balance, our trained Pilates professionals will help you to mentally and physically re-center your body.
The Pink Ribbon Program supports the physical and emotional recovery from breast cancer surgery and promotes a positive body image to breast cancer survivors on their road to recovery. Our instructors at Pilates Bodies are Breast Cancer Exercise Specialists (BCES) qualified to assess, design and implement individual and group exercise programs for those diagnosed with breast cancer.
We are excited to be metro Denver's first Pilates studio to offer the newly released CoreAlign system from Balanced Body. The CoreAlign is changing the way people think about exercise, movement and functioning in the modern world. Developed by Jonathan Hoffman, P.T. in Tel Aviv, Israel, the CoreAlign system emphasizes an integrated, whole body exercise routine and is designed to improve balance and posture and restore healthy movement.
