Its very large and has oodles of machines. The staff are knowledgeable. However they seem reluctant to show used machines or accept trade-ins.

Unbelievable, my machine broke two days before a 4 day sewing retreat. Diane trouble shooted over the phone, then At the store and it still needed maintenance. She drove it to the repair center on her way to work the next day and I got it back in time for my retreat….Now that is customer service!

I called Creative Sewing in Minnetonka on Monday, to inquire about how to get my Brother home sewing machine fixed. I explained to Diane (their manager) that I couldn't part with my machine for a whole 2 weeks, she recommended I bring it in and she would do her best to get it running. After about 20 mins of her trying every trick in the book(and staying an extra hour after their store was closed), it became clear that I needed to have it serviced. I ended up buying another machine because I should realistically have a back-up on hand anyway. She was very informative and low-pressure in regards

This is a great store for sales and service. Staff is very knowledgeable and super helpful. Whether you are a sewer, a quilter or an embroidered (or all three!) this is the place for you. I can highly recommend them!
