I have lived in the neighborhood for over 10 years and this is my first time dining at Calogero's. We made an evening reservation for my husband's birthday for a party of 8, with two children. They were super accommodating and even accepted my outside cake without any slicing fee, even allowed me to bring in a handful of balloons. Decor is modern but warm. Staff is welcoming and go above and beyond. All of their food was above excellent- especially their creamy mushroom truffle sauce- to die for! Cannot wait to go back!

This place was so cute, the staff were so friendly and I was grateful there was a tent option with the surge in COVID.
The broccoli rabe and white beans is a dish not to skip, delicious!

Excellent food, service and ambiance. Drinks were amazing too. Luke was a pleasure to work with especially for a last minute large party. Very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Ordered food to go. Was not handed menu or suggestions. Several cooks hanging around with not much to do. Spaghetti w oil n veggies were lacking oil. Will try this place one more time

I love this place so much! I had one the best experiences here the other night.
My friend was going through something and I she hadn't had a proper meal in two days from being sad. It took some convincing but she came out for dinner. I felt very bad because we had made a reservation for 8pm on a Sunday and didn't make until 8:40pm because of personal issues she was going through. Always enjoy my visits here- staff very accommodating, food is tasty only wish they could offer at least one vegan option for those whose medical condition prevents them from eating meat, cheese/dairy and soy.

Delicious food! Very nice atmosphere! The chicken marsala with mashed potatoes and string beans I had there recently was excellent! I would definitely go back to have dinner there again!

What an awesome experience I had dealing with this restaurant. I planned a family reunion for about 30 people from out of state. I was never in Garden City and chose the restaurant on Yelp reviews. In the pandemic things kept changing. We finally had the dinner in the tent since there were many people from States that had high infection rates like Texas and Florida. Made reservations for outdoors but we preferred to sit inside, the hostess granted our wish by seating us in an inside table with a half booth. Cozy Italian restaurant.
Frank, our waiter, was wonderful explaining to us some interesting items. The complimentary bread with olive oil was delicious, as well as the Chicken Marsala, Salmon and Quattro formagio pizza, big enough that we took it to go. The tartufo was a refreshing treat to end our meal. The nicely decorated outside patio was packed as we were leaving.

I was in the city for business, so had it delivered. It was hot (not piping hot, but still had some warmth). I ordered the meatball sub and a piece of cheesecake. The sub was great, meatballs were a generous size, the marinara was tasty and there was lots of melted mozzarella. Generous sized sandwich. Would feed 2 if you ordered sides. The menu looked pretty broad. I'm pretty sure the cheesecake was not made in house, but tasted fine. Delivery time was reasonable. Costs were as expected for the NYC area.

The place are very clean and not noisy. The foods are delicious but its little bite too salty to me( I am not a salty person ) also the price are little too expensive to me , but I think it's worth to give it try.

We were there this past weekend for my cousin’s baby sprinkle. The staff was great - So friendly. The food was great too!

It is very seldom that I am a loss for words and find it hard to express myself but I am going to try my best. I had a bridal shower for my daughter on Saturday June 12th at Calogero's and it was so over the top perfect I could not help but share my experience with everyone. I owned my own Pizzeria for 35 years so I know a thing or two about customer service and Ronnie the owner, Jorge and the rest of the staff were the most accommodating and professional people I have ever come across. Can I just say that choosing Calageros for our wedding shower was a fantastic choice! The outside tent was beautiful. It was very nicely decorated with hanging floral decor and wreaths. The waiting staff gave us five service the entire time. The sangria is delicious and fresh. The food is also outstanding, very fresh and full of flavor. We will definitely return at some point in the future!

Overall, not a terrible place.. the first mixed drink special was not very good at all.. but they took it back, which was great. The apps were delicious, mains were okay. The dessert, chocolate truffle cake was crap. So dry that we just couldn't eat it.. clearly it was bought in, and no love was put into. Lastly, there was no baby changing tables available, which caused us to go outside in the rain to the car to change the baby..

Had my daughter’s 1st birthday party here yesterday & they were great! Food was delicious, server was very attentive & they were super clean. A huge huge thank you to Ronnie for everything! Will definitely be returning.

Stopped in for lunch. Beautiful decor. Safely separated from other patrons. Food was delicious. Enjoyed the white bean broccoli rabe soup and polenta. Couldn't even finish the polenta.

Arrived a little late for our reservation and there were no issues at all. The entire staff was super nice and helpful throughout the meal, and made the experience even better.

The food was sooo good. We ordered the buratta, two pastas, and truffle fries and everything was fantastic. We also ordered a bottle of wine and it was lovely as well, they have a lot of different options that vary in price.

Really cute place, felt comfortable with covid protocols (plastic dividers that somehow didn't feel weird) and all employees were masked.

Would def recommend and will be back.

My family and I have had several meals at Calogero's and every single one is a hit! We've been very wary of indoor dining during the pandemic, but we ate here recently for my mom's birthday and I felt completely safe with the precautions they took. Everything was distanced and non-booth tables had plexiglass between them. Every time I go, I have such a hard time deciding what to eat because everything is so good (I usually opt for seafood and it's always so fresh and delicious!) It's quite hard to find a good Italian restaurant for my family because my sister is gluten

WOW. What an adorable spot in the town of Garden City. Sat inside and felt very comfortable, only a few tables occupied inside and all the staff were masked and did not stand over the tables. The Burrata was AMAZING, would highly recommend. I'd also recommend the Truffled Quattro Formaggio, it was so cheesy and perfectly truffled. The pizza and pesto pasta was OK - nothing too amazing. But loved the experience and looking forward to going back!

Just had a 16th birthday dinner there. amazing food and service. they were so accommodating.

This was my first outdoor dining experience since Long Island went into Phase 2 and I don't regret It at all. The atmosphere was very nice and welcoming and there were enough space between myself and other customers. Our waiter was also super attentive with filling up our glasses with water and checking in to see how we were doing.

My friend and I started off with the calamari which was seasoned well and paired really nicely with the side of garlic aioli included in the dish. I got the pizza diavolo which tasted great. Although, there was a little too much of honey drizzled on top, the sweetness

Very elegant restaurant. Friendly service. I had the chicken parmesan and my husband had the eggplant parmesan. The chicken was good but the eggplant was cold and had to be reheated. Had the tortufo for dessert which was excellent. Overall good but pricey restaurant.

I was a huge fan of this place! It is definitely more upscale than your usual restaurants so make sure you don't make the newbie mistake that my boyfriend and I did and come in casual clothes (uh oh). No one seemed to mind that much though.

In terms of service, our waitress was incredibly attentive and patient. My boyfriend and I are definitely indecisive when it comes to our food, and she walked through the menu with us as well as offered her suggestions of their recommended dishes.

I came here for a bridal shower and the staff was very accommodating. I loved the penne a la vodka and their desserts. We had a variety of drinks without brunch and I would definitely come back. Overall, the dining experience was great.
