Accordion shutters are permanently installed and offer storm readiness in just minutes. Ideal for windows and doors, also optimal for securing patios and enclosing balconies or terraces. Accordion shutters can be installed with curved tracks, allowing us to follow the contour of a balcony or patio, keeping valuable patio space available.
Roll-Down / Roll-Up Shutters are the most convenient shutter to use in storm protection for any home or business. Roll-Up Shutters can blend in with your buildings architecture and can become invisible. When building a new home, they can be incorporated into the structure so they will only be visible when lowered.
The Bahama Shutter is one of the original window protection products to be made. It is made of fixed horizontal louvers, secured permanently in a frame that is mounted above the window. Constructed from aluminum, it can be given the appearance of wood. It is mounted with a hinge at the top and supported by adjustable supports at the bottom.

For the past month we have been working on sorting out a project plan for shutters and a storm window for 3 condos and had relied on red oak for this project.
This company had already come out and provided some initial drawings and several communications.
I recently traveled nearly 1100 miles to go ahead and sign contracts and start the project however apparently our asking for an installation warranty for this work was a problem because suddenly there was no contact or follow up whatsoever.
I have called and sent several emails and have still had no response .
We will not recommend this company

They are great people.. Based on my experience....It might difficult to talk on the phone....try to make the appointment with the office team Stephanie. But the guy teams are nice and professional. Gorge and Luis are great... they know what they do. Note : It's hurricane season you might need to wait longer - mine was 5 weeks waiting.

So even though I have lived in my home for 3 years, for some reason the HOA decided that everyone had to open their hurricane shutters on their windows above the doors. Never mind that mine are broken and have been that way since I bought the home and that I have told the HOA this numerous times.
I called FIFTEEN shutter places in Broward and Palm Beach county and NO ONE repairs the shutters like I have. Figures. Then someone referred me to Red Oaks Shutter. THANK GOD! They were able to come out AND fix the stupid shutters within 2 days of me calling them. They saved me a $150/day fine! They

I had my whole house done, every window and door by Red Oaks. They came out promptly and gave me a free estimate and were very kind and courteous. I ended up using them and couldn't be more satisfied. Did not take long for the windows to get in and soon after they were installed quickly and by very friendly knowledgeable installer. I highly recommend Red oaks shutters.

From start to finish this was the easiest and best addition to our home since moving here from California last December. We chose Bahama shutters and placed the order on April 23rd. The shutters were installed today (May 18th!) and we could not be happier. The product is sturdy, functional, aesthetically pleasing and the finish is rich and flawless in application. Quite a change from the interior plantation shutters and closet doors we had to wait 12 weeks for from China! Love that Red Oaks shutters are made locally! Stephanie and Luis are stellar employees

I got an issue with one of my roll-up shutter. One of the spring/arm got broken. Could no longer roll up or down the shutter. I called Read Oaks and spoke with Stephanie. After describing her the issue, she knew exactly what had to be done to fixed the problem. The crew that came out ( Freddy & Jose) had the correct parts and did a great job. The cost to repair my shutter was very reasonable. Everything was handled very professionally.

Stop searching and give this company your $ to do your shutters , everything was handled in most professional way starting with Merle during sales and pre installation work. Office staff Stephanie and Diane and Tisha (?) were updating us re install date. Installation crews cared about all details from A to Z
We did not have to worry about condo building , red oak handled that as well as city permit opening and closing
We live in high rise on seventh floor and we were worried about time we need to spend on getting building approvals and such, red oak was efficient and kept building management

I would have liked to give them more stars but honestly they are getting this many only because they were generally nice people and the shutters looked nice once they were finally done.
There were problems along the whole process and a job that should have taken 10 weeks took 4 months.
The accordian shutters were easy to get installed but the colonials we ordered were forgotten or something because we had to wait another 3 weeks for them to arrive, then they were damaged so another 3 weeks for the replacement. Then they wouldn't pass inspection, 4 times. All of this requiring me to spend days

Had to re-install lower tracks and raise the upper tracks on my steel panel hurricane shutter system( yuk) due to new travertine being layed on my rear deck. They verified the appointment and Dyan in the office asked for photos to ensure they knew exactly what had to be done with upper and lower tracks. Stephanie in the office verified the appointment twice and Thomas and Andre came out and did a great job.
