More than 40 years ago, Ben Carpenter envisioned a water front community with canals just as the ones in Venice, Italy. His idea was brought to life and his 12,000 acres of cattle ranch land called "El Ranchito de Las Colinas" is now known as the city of "Las Colinas".

I ate here a couple of times while I was staying nearby. The service was great, friendly staff, and very quick. The prices are also very reasonable, and the carafe of house Merlot didn’t hurt a bit. The food was average. The caprese salad had too much dressing all over it for my liking, the pasta and pizza was OK. All in all, a good experience but nothing extraordinary.

Located right next to Lake Carolyn, the street at night was beautiful. Day time you can grab a pizza and take a Gondola tour you will feel like you are in Venice without physically being there.
The vibe in resturant was great, not too big, not too small and this restaurant has a bar as well. Staff was very friendly and kind. Plenty of inside and outside seating. Most importantly the food was amazing, I been to many authentic Italian restaurants from NY to CA (due to my wife's obsession with calamari) this place was one of the best. Oh and the amount of food we got was way... way too generous.

I’ve been here so many times, I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed it yet! Italian Café is my go to spot for anything. Lunch, dinner, and even brunch. The staff is amazing, vibe is great, and bread is freaking addicting. I used to come here every Friday and pick up a pizza, so I can vouch for it being great. I usually get the meat pizza, but they also have an option to walk in and get your choice of pizza by the slice as well (which is super convenient). I now normally come for brunch or dinner. For brunch, mimosas are a must. They’re made perfect and not too much orange juice👌🏻 anything

This is a wonderful little neighborhood restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy but not crowded. The staff is very friendly and attentive but not intrusive. And the food is amazing! Large portions served hot and fresh. I had the pasta sampler which consisted of Beef lasagna, Chicken Cannelloni and raviollo all baked in marinara sauce topped with mozzarella cheese. I highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

I love the location because it’s within walking distance from my apartment. I’ve visited in the past but I don’t remember exactly what I had. This past Sunday night I walked there for a nice dinner on the patio and I had a good time. I loved my view and the music they were playing. It made for a relaxing night.

We had a family dinner with here. The food was pretty darn good, I ordered the chicken parmesan along with a cocktail. The waiter was kind and did a good job with the size of party we had.
The only reason for a star missing is it took a bit of time to get our drinks and our food. We also had to remind them about water.
I would recommend this restaurant.

My family and I had dinner here recently and it was delicious! Our server was very nice and attentive. We ordered several dishes and everyone really enjoyed the food. The chicken in the Cesar salad was soft and tender, well seasoned. The arriabata sauce on the rigatoni was the best I've ever had! I would definitely recommend this place.

Great Italian food at a surprisingly great price point. Each entree is easily enough food for two meals or two people to share. The food came out piping hot and was clearly very fresh. We ordered a carafe of their house wine ($18) and it was easily enough for three of us to have almost two full glasses, each. To top it off I had their cannoli which was perfect and comparable to those that we had in Rome! 5/5 would definitely recommend!
