I have eaten here at least 20 times this year and it is fantastic. I have eaten both salads and many of the sandwiches. I like the Italian style they are the best in the area. If you are looking for a great place to grab a fantastic sandwich or salad you can not beat the A&M cafe. Friendly and fast service. You will thank me after you go there and try it for yourself.

Great sandwich shop on Carrier parkway in Grand prairie just east of highway 360. Cold or hot subs, hamburgers and salads for dine in or take out. Breakfast too.
Terrific mom and pop business. Pop handles the orders up front. Mom is making the sandwiches in the kitchen. And she must be putting something special in there because it sure tastes good.
Easy to get to from either 161 or 360. About midway between the two in a business park facing Carrier. Look for the A&M Cafe on the north side of the street, close to the intersection of Great Southwest parkway.

I ordered lunch for my office and received the best customer service I've gotten in years. First they helped create a logical and very reasonably priced offering. Sandwiches were very good, nice bread. But the best was how they made sure the little details were taken care of. They delivered 16 full cups of ice and a giant iced tea cooler. Napkins, labeled sandwiches, on time delivery, etc. Highly recommend for inexpensive office catered lunch.

Excellent food, I always get the Italian grinder but all of their sandwiches are excellent. The couple that run it are great, they go out of their way to hold a conversation with you even when they are really busy. Mostly fast food chains near by which I avoid at all costs. This place beats Subway any day!

I come for the sandwiches at lunch because they remind me of the classic Italian subs I had as a kid almost 60 years ago in California. I love the Italian style on chewy Italian white bread with vinegar and oil dressing, tomatoes, onions and meat and cheese. Counter service is excellent and friendly and they remember you after the first visit! Great prices, too, with 6" daily specials including drink and chips at just over $5 +tax.

I love this place! The couple that run the place are the sweetest. They always have my order ready by the time I get there. I usually call in my order. I love the super club and the grinder sandwiches! I totally recommend them. They have tons of choices for drinks and chips. They also have home made soups which are the best! Salads are amazing too good portion size. I always leave with a smile on my face. I'd rather spend my lunch break here everyday rather than subway. Deals are great! Quality is great!

Small, comfortable lunch spot. I had the lunch special which was a 6 inch meatball sub, small bag of chips, and a can of coke for 5.49. Pretty good deal but the sub was pretty average, about 4 meatballs and 3 slices of provolone on a bun. I will probably go again to try the gyro when it is the special on Friday. Also, if you want breakfast be sure you go before 10. We arrived around 10:30 and was told breakfast stops at 10.
Kristen's four words: Pretty weak customer service.

Friendly service and great food! I recently moved back into this area after a 3 year absence. First time I walked in...in over 3 years, and they both not only remembered me, but exactly how I ordered my sandwich. Amazing people.
A nice variety of hot and cold sandwiches for lunch. Excellent bread. Salads and styled baked potato rounds it out. A little pricey, but well worth it. Seating is minimal, but adequate. They also do large platters for catering.
Highly recommend.

I love the couple who run this restaurant. Every time I call in my order I am met with a friendly voice and it is served with a smile. I eat here a minimum of twice a week and will continue this tradition indefinitely. As a customer that no longer eats red meat, my options here seem endless. Try the turkey burger!!!

This is a small, family run cafe. They have a decent sized menu including hot and cold subs, gyros, salads and breakfast. The breakfast is not bad for the price, but they definitely put way too much butter for my taste. As far as lunch all I have had is their grilled chicken salad. For $7 I'd like to see less iceberg lettuce and maybe something with a little nutritional value. I do like that they have a variety of other veggies in at and the chicken is freshly cooked.

This is a small cafe in the industrial side of Grand Prairie. The owners are very courteous and friendly. The store is run professionally and is very clean. The sandwiches are really good. This place is a lot better than the subway on carrier and we try to go to lunch once a week or so. The drinks are small, so we normally get a big drink from sonic.

Serving those who frequent the industrial side of Grand Prairie, this cafe is a no-frills kind of place. The menu had a variety of cold- and hot-sandwich options. I asked for a recommendation and ordered the grilled chicken parmesan sub on wheat. It was ok. Quite honestly, it was more tomato-soup than tomato-sauce, and there were far more mushrooms than one would expect. For $6, including a drink, I'll give them another try when I'm in the area...but it wouldn't be my first choice.
