An all american dining cafe. Friendly staff and good food for fair prices. Most of the time is packed, so you may have to wait before a table is free. Really worth the visit.

Huevos rancheros were amazing and portions are good. Love to come back and try others if I'm around someday, got a piece of a real Texas diner experience.

I’ve driven by a million times, I always wanted to stop, just too busy. I’ll make time more often. They were prompt, lots of options, friendly and clean.
I had the fish and chips, which is big flaky Atlantic cod, fried to perfection. The tartar sauce was fantastic, they have malt vinegar on hand and ketchup on the table.
The iced tea was great, too!
I’ll be back.

We've been going to Luckys for several years now. A ton of great food options. Including gluten free. Farm to table choices.
We've done breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything has been solid. Great service with no problems ever. Always happy to support local, small businesses.
Can be busy during brunch times on the weekends, but that's just a sign of good food and service.

Beautiful farm fresh eggs and excellent bacon. But I really came for the mimosas, which are as good as they've ever been. Five stars for the excellent Service as well. Will definitely be back. Again and again and again

Wow!! Absolutely sensational establishment!! More people coming in than leaving! Place was packed, but the the service and food preparation was as if you were the only ones there!! A highly recommended experience when in Dallas!

This place is legit. It was right down the street from the airbnb I was staying in, so I walk to it for breakfast. I sat down at a table, the waitress took my order and the food came right out in about 5-8min. I got blueberry pancakes, chicken sausage, and scrambled eggs. The chicken sausage actually tasted like sausage. I would most definitely recommend eating here. I'm sorry for not taking photos, I was hungry and honestly wasn't thinking about a review.

The food here is always well prepared, and the table service we've always received has been nothing shy of stellar.

My husband's especially fond of Lucky's delicious fried pickles and freaking PERFECT mimosas.

This is a cute little retro diner in Oak Lawn! The interior is adorable and even has a bar. They have lots of breakfast and dinner options on the menu, many of which are made with farm to table ingredients. Our food was tasty and had generous portion sizes. I removed a star though because the service was very slow. We sat for 20 minutes then had to go ask for a server to come take our order. I would give it another chance though!

Delicious food and great customer service. One of my favorite spots for a brunch date I'm a very impatient person so the wait sometimes sucks. Overall, I recommend!

My fiancée & I came here on a Saturday morning and had a great experience. They offer a mimosa carafe for a very affordable price. We both had the all American breakfast and the food is truly farm to table. The grits, biscuits & cinnamon butter were the true standouts.
It was our first time here and we’ll definitely be coming back. The service was great too.

Ordered from Uber eats. I ordered the chicken fried steak. It was delicious! With a side of Brussels sprouts and mash potatoes. Soooo good. When ever I'm craving chicken fried steak I'm definitely coming here.

Just ordered Luckys breakfast for delivery...I was thoroughly disappointed with the taste of the food. I ordered bacon omelette with biscuit and a basic breakfast with grits and toast. The grits tasted like someone put a cigarette out in them and the toast was so burnt it was basically inedible. The omelette and scrambled eggs were over cooked and had no flavor. The biscuit was dry, hard and tasteless. All in all I don't recommend and won't be ordering again.

Cute little place. Ate at the bar since I was by myself. I got the all American and decided to get grits, which I never do, but I'm glad I did because they were the best grits I've ever had in my life! I couldn't get enough of them! Everything was really good and fairly priced. I'll for sure come back! I'm happy I stopped in!

Old school diner experience. Clientele was very diverse so you will feel welcomed. Had the special.. 2 eggs, bacon, toast, and grits with an adder of a pancake. The grits were the best I've ever eaten outside of my own, and I wanted to eat the whipped butter for the pancake by itself, so good. If you are in town it is worth the stop in.

Great breakfast. On the weekends expect a little bit of a wait but once you’re inside service is fast and food is WORTH IT! Amazing iced coffee, fresh OJ.

Stopped in on a Friday night and was able to be seated quickly.

Our waiter was friendly and attentive, our drink order was messed up but quickly corrected.

Food was great! Atmosphere was great! Drinks were good! I honestly am glad my friend brought us here for brunch. I hate that I can't remember my servers name because he was amazing & worth mentioning. All in All if you're looking for a place to grab brunch this is it. I can't wait to visit Dallas again and come back.

Ordered the chicken fried chicken, brussel sprouts, and mashed potatoes. I was torn about the green vegetables and the waiter suggested the Brussels sprouts- and told me if I didn't like them, I could get something else. So- the chicken fried chicken was sooo good and the potatoes were good but nothing special. The brussel sprouts were a little more crisp than I generally like, they weren't bad. They had a nice season coating them. They also had a bar inside- I did not get a drink, but it's cute that their is a bar in a diner.

We played the wrong numbers today. The equation is simple and we were simply unLucky. Bad Food + Bad Service = One Star in my book. It was a busyish day in the Oak Lawn diner. Tables were mostly full and the wait staff was hustling...all but our waiter that is.

Coffee was brought steaming to the table, but was never warmed, topped off, refilled, anything. I considered asking our waiter to test the temperature with his finger...but he didn't visit us again until he brought the check. He also didn't notice the COMPLETELY UNEATEN Enchiladas & Eggs entree that was 100% inedible. That

We loved our experience at Luckys Cafe. We came on a Saturday for a late breakfast and it was busy but we were seated within 10 minutes of checking in with the host. The food was delicious and the service was fast and very friendly. We ordered the All-American breakfast and the tall stack. Their biscuits were perfectly flakey.

My husband and I have been coming to Lucky's for 30+ years. We love and worship Lucky's for food, service, and staff. I miss Shane. He has the perfect combination for customer service; people-pleasing, efficient, and hilarious. He remembers everything I need while working furiously. When I look out at night, I can see the lights of Lucky's and I remember all the ghosts who have come and gone. Shane is at the very top of my list. His adorable personality and quips were a large part in deciding to go to Lucky's any particular night. No more smells of bleach or the sounds of Steramine

Gave this place one more chance.... BIG MISTAKE! Waiter was not very friendly, food was a horrible (Garden Burger).....
I sent it back but was never given a choice for something else and was charged for it. My lunch date did not care for his Chicken Fried steak as well. He did order a piece of cake, but it was extremely dry. How this place stays I. Business is a mystery to me.

Delicious fish (and onion rings)! Quickest pick up time through online ordering was 1:30, but I arrived early at 1:10 since I was close by. They were super friendly and got me my food by 1:20! Great food, fast and friendly service. Also they have the best biscuits in town!
