I've spotted many of these drivers breaking traffic laws since arriving in the Maryland area just a week ago. Today, I saw TaxiG630 going nearly 60 down a small neighborhood street and nearly hit my dog. It's pretty clear based off that and the other reviews that no one should ever give this company a penny.

Extremely rude driver who was very rude to my wife who was riding alone and even yelled at her because he did not know where he was going and took his frustration out on her. She even felt unsafe and I had to ask her to be dropped of at a lit location so that I can pick her up since she felt very unsafe and was subject to abusive behavior. Will complain to the company as well. This company sadly has a history of rudeness and I wonder why folks switch over to Uber or Lyft due to incompetent and rude drivers of this company. Do not ride!!!!!

Two blind people and I got in a Red DC taxi on February 12 to ride from the Russell Senate Office Building to Holiday Inn Washington-Capitol. The driver’s number was 75543 and the vehicle’s number was E136. After riding around for almost 30 minutes (normally a 5-minute ride), I questioned the driver about why we weren’t going to the requested destination. He said that I had asked for a ride to The Mayflower (wherever that is). When I emphasized that he was wrong, he said that he had made a mistake. ****RIDERS BEWARE****
Very shiesty drivers who are only interested in maximizing profit. Unbeknownst to me, until my return trip home with a different company, the Red Cab driver elected to take an excessively long and out of the way trip to the airport to maximize his profit. The company has been unresponsive to my concerns and are seemingly ok with their driver's thieving and unethical practices. This leads me to believe these practices are endorsed and encouraged by the business. My driver's name was Tofik Yusuf. What should have been a $37 trip resulted in me paying $63. PLEASE BEWARE

E149. My daughter caught the cab from union station to a building about 1.5 miles away because it was her first time traveling alone in DC. Yes she’s 18 but took the cab so she could get to her destination on time. What should’ve taken about 8 mins was delayed by a personal phone call reminding him of an appointment. Then another phone call he made before driving off - either you’re working or not. She told him she was in a hurry and I’m pretty sure he took the long way around as I watched while they drove via FaceTime. I am livid! Then they wonder why the industry is failing. Not to mention

Scammers. Tried charging me $2000 instead of $20, the driver played nice the whole entire trip. Says to me get the bags out the bag and I’ll ring you up with the credit card machine. He was shocked that I caught him. After that I left my brand new head phones in the cab and tried calling but nothing. Absolutely worst company, I rather walk then go near a red cab.

I've had to use the metro area Red Cab service 3 times in the past two days. In 2 of the 3 cases, the drivers had no idea of where they were going. The first was 30 minutes late and had to ask where the Ronald Reagan International Convention Center is located. Another started to take me out Rock Creek Drive when I wanted to go to Rosslyn from Foggy Bottom! The third - who has driven local taxis for over 20 years - was OK. But, batting .333 is only good in pro baseball - not for taxis with GPS and smart phone available. If you have time and don't have to walk too far, take Metro

Whatever you do, STAY AWAY.

I ordered an airport taxi for 4am from Red Cab DC and it never showed up. When I called repeatedly then and later in the day, no one answered. The last time I called, I heard them talking in the background but no one answered me - and the person I heard in the background was apologizing to a customer for why their taxi wasn't there!

Massive fail and unprofessional in every way.

This morning 4/5/19, while parking in front of a Red Cab DC driver, this driver ran up to my car window, banging aggressively on my window and started yelling profanities at me for parking too close to his cab. When I asked him to move away from my vehicle and to stop banging on my vehicle and that I was pregnant and scared, he refused and continued trying to intimidate me. I was pregnant by myself and scared. I immediately started recording him and subsequently took his picture. When I called Red Cab DC they refused to take down my complaint or resolve this issue.

I would not recommend this cab company. They never need to wonder why Uber is putting them out of business. It took us 1 hr to get to our destination that should have taken 15 min. He kept changing the address on his gps. He wanted to charge us $45 cash. We confronted him and settled for less.

The worst company. I called them asking if it were possible to move my pick up time 20 min later, the driver was rude and said he wouldn't waste his time, then hung up on me.

This morning about 10:30 AM a red top cab with DC plates, cab number 6440 was engaging in serious road rage trying to knock me and a black SUV off the road several times, from Seven Corners exchange onto Route 50 East Bound in Fairfax County, Virginia into Arlington County Virginia.

The cab literally was engaged with road rage with a black SUV, but the cab was being more aggressive by literally trying to cut him off the road, and even almost got me to run off the road twice, and on the ramp by Home Depot from 7 Corners to Rt 50, almost hit me from behind and then almost had me crash into the

Worst taxi drivers in the district! Rude, drives crazily and defensive. I would highly recommend either taking Uber or any other taxi, as the price is cheaper elsewhere. You won't have to deal with such bad attitude.
