Jim's Power To Go
For the very best in motorcycle and ATV maintenance and repairs, visit Jim's Power To Go. With over 45 years of experience, our technicians can handle any type of service you require and will deliver outstanding results for an affordable price. In 1968, at the age of 15, Jim Copley entered the world of motorcycle racing: he built his first 'Dirt Tracker.' Saturdays were spent at the three local racetracks: Albany, Benton Lane and Cottage Grove.

These were what he called "my playground"-a newfound love. The following year, Chuck Toftdahl approached Jim and offered him a job at his newly formed business, Chuck's Cycle Shop, located in Junction City, Oregon. Jim called this his Dream Job, sent by the Lord. Later, Chuck's Cycle Shop relocated and became Yamaha of Springfield.

At Jim's Power To Go, we are proud to serve as your local experts for all motorcycle, ATV and snowmobile service and repair needs. From tune-ups to enhancements, we deliver quality results at competitive rates. Tune-ups: The key to motorcycle longevity and performance is regular maintenance and service.
ATVs, motorcycles, dirt bikes and other power sport vehicles are only as good as the condition they're kept in and the functional components that power them. To that end, Jim's Power To Go wants to make sure that all of our sporting enthusiasts have access to the parts and accessories they need to help ensure the full functionality of their investments.
I have a 1983 Honda Shadow that was acting up. They took the time to listen to it, and then provide excellent advice & service. I then had them put on a new rear tire that they suggested, which after over a year it's holding up great. I can't say enough about their customer service, or the repair service they provided.

Been trying to get them to work on my R1 for about 4 or so months now. They keep telling me to call back in a week and at one point told me to call after summer. Now I've waited 2 weeks for someone to call me back but nothing.
I heard good things about the work, but, it does me no good if they refuse to take my bike (even just to drop it off understanding it may be some time before it gets done) and keep running me around. It's a shame because I wouldn't have to take time off from work to get it to them since they're so close to where I live.

These guys are not only great at what they do, they are great all around people. I have only been in there 4 times now, and every time I end up getting whatever I needed taken care of but also a great conversation. Very nice people running a great small business that should be supported by anyone needing parts or work done. Support your local businesses instead of buying online, the relationship and gratitude you recieve is worth what people consider to be "inconvenient" or "overpriced". I can attest than none of the parts I've gotten from them were overpriced.

I have owned a Kodiak ATV for 18 years - it is 24 years old. Last week I asked Jim to help me with some issues. This was my first visit to his business (I've had 2 other local businesses repair it in the past). Jim made my needs a priority and repaired the machine within 48 hours. It literally has NEVER run as well as it does now, after Jim's careful work. I appreciated him taking time to explain what he did and why. But the real proof was being 3 hours away from any town, in the desert, and knowing that I could trust my machine to do what it needed to do AND to keep me safe.

Jim is fantastic! Brought my bike in for a tune up last week. Very helpful, honest, and not exploitative. He gave me his honest opinion on what needed to be done to the bike and what didn't and he walked me through what all was wrong, the telltale signs, and what to look for in the future. Additionally, he didn't put off an attitude like I don't know what I'm doing; a lot of mechanics seem to do this. Definitely coming back next time.

My motorcycle needed some work done after having sat for a few months. It wouldn't start so I called Jim, who recommended a towing company (a great company with great service, I don't remember the name), and then talked me through the repair process and gave me an estimate. He was very reasonably priced, very happy to explain what was wrong (I am no mechanic), and very easy to work with. I highly recommend his service!
