We are the pediatric dental office of Dr. Ryan Brown. Our office provides specialized dentistry for children and adolescents in a warm, caring and "child-friendly" environment. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Brown's 2 years of additional training after dental school prepared him for the unique dental needs of each child we serve.
We focus on preventive care to help each child grow a healthy smile that will last a lifetime. Our office serves infants, children, and teens in Prescott, Prescott Valley, and Chino Valley, AZ. We also specialize in helping patients who have special needs. The pediatric dentist has an extra two to three years of specialized training after dental school, and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years.

Services
Prior to joining My Kids Dentist I worked as the office manager for a medical office in California for eleven years, and have worked in the medical field for over 20 years. I have two amazing kids! I love traveling, spending time with family and friends. New adventures are the best! Dr. Brown is a fabulous dentist and I really enjoy working with him and the other team members.
Dr. Brown's top priorities are your child's comfort and satisfaction. He and his staff look forward to your visit and to showing you the many ways in which the finest dental care can improve your child's life. Due to this high standard of care, My Kids' Dentist is the only Pediatric Dental Office in the area where every child's cleaning is completed by a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
We want your child to enjoy visiting My Kids Dentist! We have designed a low-stress, kid-friendly space where your child will be right at home! Our office is bright and open and features tv screens in the ceiling operatories to help your child pass the time and be more relaxed.
We want your child to feel comfortable and have a great experience with us so that they will develop a positive attitude toward visiting the dentist and taking care of their smile.

Appointments for preventative care are offered from 8:00 am to 4:00pm, Monday thru Thursday, and 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Fridays. Appointments are available every 30 minutes. Due to the way our office is set up, we can see up to four patients at a time. We encourage families with preschool aged children to come earlier in the day, well before nap and/or mealtime.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association recommend that a visit to the dentist should be scheduled by the child's first birthday. At this young age problems can be detected, treated early, or avoided completely. More importantly, it can help establish a positive relationship between your child and the dentist.

Not sure where to start ! I can't express how much I love and appreciate Dr. Brown. We have been going to see him since 2015. He is such a kind, caring person and always goes the extra mile. One day I was looking at my daughter's teeth and noticed her lip was tied, I called his office in a panic and they got me in that day. He made me feel so much better about it, and let me know what he would do if it was his child. Dr. Brown and his staff has always made us feel very comfortable. My daughter loves going, and always asks when we are going back. I would recommended him to everyone if

I can't express my gratitude enough for Dr. Raber and My Kid's Dentist.
My 7 year old daughter had four abscess teeth in a matter of a few weeks due to having covid. Dr. Raber completely went out of his way to make sure Kiki was fully taken care of.
The entire staff is beyond welcoming and compassionate. The atmosphere is fun for both kids and parents alike. There's no doubt in my mind that Dr. Raber is absolutely the best dentist around! He not only took care of the issues, but his ability to keep my daughter calm was amazing. He has such a gentle touch and a heart of gold.

Disappointed. While the staff is nice seems good intentioned- the price was fair but work that was administered was overly invasive and scary for anyone who was watching. Yes I know I should of done more due diligence.
Bottom line is they don't inform you of everything- this is a warning for parents who weren't told this prior to the work being done like we were- they use restraints- if your child wakes up during treatment and they don't allow you in the room your child is screaming wondering who has them tied down and frantically trying to get away and then barging into the room

This office is extremely unprofessional when it comes to the way they handle insurance and payments. My wife has had three horrible experiences with their office staff. In two separate instances we were called by the office telling us that they accepted our insurance only to find out that wasn't true when my wife got there. In one case, she canceled her appointment at another dentist because she was excited about the new Chino Valley location.
Needless to say, they didn't accept our insurance and we had to reschedule again with our normal dentist.
Vowing we'd never go back, our

First appt: show up with 3 kids ready to go. Was told that they no longer take our insurance so after waiting for 30 mins we leave. 6 months later we get a phone call from My Kids Dentist telling us they now accept our insurance. We make appts, cancel appts with other dentist, and excitedly bring 4 kids now to see the dentist here. After walking in and waiting we were once again told, "Sorry there was a mistake. We actually don't take this insurance." There was a misunderstanding by their front office staff was what we were told.
So fast forward to today when our normal dentist

They are really good pediatric dentists. Kidzam doesn’t have pediatric dentists. You can’t put a cowboy hat on an adult dentist and suddenly they specialize in kids. Kidzam wanted to completely put my child to sleep to fill a cavity. My kids dentist didn’t have to do that. I’m so glad that my husband and I got a second opinion.

If you need a dentist for you little ones, check out Dr. Ryan Brown at My Kids Dentist. I didn't think I would ever find a pediatric dentist I liked as much as ours in CA... But this guy is awesome! He was so natural with our 3 year old and our 1 year old, I could see he genuinely likes kids. His entire office is designed with kids in mind, from the "tree fort" in the waiting room, to the open room concept in the cleaning area so that no one is "alone" and scared, to the no cavity club incentive program as you walk out. ...Now, if I could talk him into seeing my husband
