At an early age, Dr. Richard Mangum knew that he wanted to dedicate his life's work to helping people. As a high school student, he thought the field of medicine would provide him the best opportunities. While in college, as a pre-med student, he learned about dentistry and discovered that this field offered a better balance between work, family, church, and civic life.
Because these priorities, he chose the field of dentistry knowing that as a dentist he would be able to help many people. While working on his undergraduate degree, Richard applied to the University of Michigan at the recommendation of one of his mentors. He had heard that the University of Michigan was one of the country's prestigious dental schools.

Never in my life have I enjoyed going to the dentist until now. Fun, friendly and fast is the best way I can describe these visits. I am so grateful that a neighbor recommended Mangum Dental when we moved here four years ago. We have an adult daughter, who has Down Syndrome and is not the easiest patient to work with.

Dr. Mangum is a highly respectable individual and Dentist in the community. They got me in on short notice which was very nice of them. He and his staff were friendly and professional. I have anxiety especially with the dentist however they were able to helped me feel more relaxed and comfortable. I didn’t feel they were judging me because of my dental struggles or my teeth as I worry about those. Dr. Mangum was able to performed the dental procedure with great expertise and helped me to stay calm the entire time. And my husband was there to also offer extra support through the process. I hope

Our first visit was a very positive experience. Both my wife and I are new to the area and feel confident we have found our new Dentist. Dr. Ransdell is very pleasent and we were both impressed and very comfortable with him. The dental assistants were great and the office staff is friendly and handled all the paper work very efficiently. We are glad we discovered Mangum Dental.

I've been with Dr Snow for over 10 years - he's the BEST - kind caring and sensitive. He explains procedures and options so well. This week a sudden severe pain happened - they got me in very next day and to the endodontist that same night. So very professional.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Brett Magnum for four years. He has done crown work and filled cavities for us. Excellent work and fair price. We have developed a high level of trust in Dr. Magnum. The dental hygenists and office staff are also very competent. Everybody is friendly too. Glad we found this dental practice.

The best dental office in town! Staff is extremely friendly and will go out of their way to help you. One Saturday morning my child knocked several teeth out and required immediate emergency dental work done. We were able to get ahold of Dr Mangum and he took care of us and my sons’ teeth within a few hours. I highly recommend this office for all your dental needs. Five stars just isn’t enough...

Dental emergency and didn't have a dentist as I recently moved to Prescott. Dr. Snow was highly recommended by my neighbor and I'm so glad to have found him. Great, personable guy and thoroughly diagnosed my problem. Referred me to an Endodontist for stage one of the tooth repair. VERY happy to find Dr. Snow and will continue seeing him for all my routine dental and dental implant needs.

We are new to the Prescott area and needed a dentist. I read the reviews on yelp of all local dentists and decided to give Magnum Dental a try. We are in the Delta dental insurance program and these guy take that. I was given an appointment and suddenly realized that I needed to get an appointment before yearend, the end of October and the receptionist work hard, shifted a few things around and made that happen for me. Dentist gave me a comprehensive exam then Mary the hygienist did an excellent job cleaning my teeth.

Both my husband and myself see Dr. Brett. He is thorough, patient, and really cares about his patients. Coming from South Florida (Fort Lauderdale) and new to Arizona in general, it was hard to find a dentist that I trust. My husband was dealing with terrible VA treatment for his teeth and when we finally received our referral to Mangum Dental, my husband was finally able to get work done that the VA had put off. Dr. Brett is a great dentist and highly recommended.

I recently moved to the Prescott Valley area from San Diego. Not knowing any local dentists yet, I found Dr. Mangum here on Yelp. The whole staff is great. I didn't get scolded for being late (I'm still learning my way around). Dr. Mangum recommended an economical way to fix a broken tooth which I greatly appreciated. Even though it's a long drive from where I live I would not go anywhere else for dentistry.
