I was 15 years old when I found Pilates. It was a mandatory part of my dance training growing up in New York, but at that point in my life I didn't understand its value. That was 46 years ago. In 1982 I found fitness and "aerobics" - and got hooked on the craze.

It was the era of "more is better" so I did everything I could to be active: running, skiing, teaching 10 classes per week and even becoming a ski instructor & fitness educator - all while raising two small boys.In 2011, A normal yearly visit to the doctor again turned my world upside down.
Whether you take a private or semi-private lesson you will practice movement on all of the wonderful apparatus invented by Joseph Pilates designed to create flexibility, strength, and alignment in your spine, joints, muscles, and pelvic floor. Your energy will be elevated and your body will be nourished.
PILATES BARRE FUSION is a dynamic blend of two disciplines, Pilates & Barre, that share similar concepts and principles. The melding of the two can provide complete and total body alignment, leading to better strength, flexibility and posture. Pilates Barre Fusion uses traditional Pilates equipment, the reformer, and/or chair along with the True Barre and Body Bar Flex.

One that creates body awareness through connecting your mind to your body using your breath and the exercises Joseph Pilates so brilliantly created or that of a minduful Yoga practice. I went for the first time yesterday to a reformer class and June made me feel right at home. She made the environment safe (for both COVID health and my abilities), educational and I left feeling loved, part of a community and stronger in my body and confidence. I am truly looking forward to my next class and time with June. June is a lifesaver. When physical therapy was so boring and ineffective for me after my back surgery was healing I went to Pilates. June really attends to your needs and weaknesses, and knows her stuff inside and out. She teaches not only the exercises but why we do the exercises. I am so grateful I found Center Your Body Pilates. My back doctor told me that his patients who do Pilates heal better than others do.

I attended my first pilates reformer class( after a four year hiatus) at Center Your Body Pilates in Louisville, CO taught by the owner, June Kahn today. June was so down to earth and welcoming as were the other participants at this class. I found June attentive(very experienced in body placement during each exercise) and caring throughout the hour long class. Even though it had been a long time since I had taken Pilates, after the class my body felt comfortablly stretched and relaxed.
I looked forward to my next class!

I’ve done pilates at a few places and I’d say June is the most encouraging and lovely instructor I’ve had so far! She pays close attention to your body and corrects technique in a very lovely way. She spends most of the hour class telling us that we look great and are doing well, so I often walk out with a sore body, but feeling great about myself! I’ve been going for only a few weeks and have already noticed an improvement in my posture in my day-to-day life, as well as being stronger than when I started! June Kahn, owner of Center your Body Pilates is always an inspiration to me with her dedication to the community and to the fitness industry! She works harder than any other lady I know in Louisville, making sure that her studio and every client is taken care of. June will take time to educate anyone and everyone wanting to learn about what she does and about pilates. She ALWAYS offers a free 30 minute class to properly assess and address any questions or concerns that you may have while also giving you the opportunity to try Barr/Pilates. I just finished my first private lesson with June! Frankly I was worried I could not do Pilates since I am a very senior citizen. But, I loved it. June was knowledgeable and thorough in her explanations as she walked me through the exercises. She was patient and encouraging. I can hardly wait for my next lesson.

A highly skilled and talented woman in the exercise industry, June is all about maximizing one's potential and beyond. June trains you in Pilates using the Joseph Pilates method, and is skilled in giving you a strong Pilates experience for core strength, and flexibility as well as rehabilitation if required.
