Services
We have worked hard to create a SAFE & HEALTHY space and protocol, with safely distanced equipment & detailed and effective sanitization! We offer in-person and virtual privates and semi-private sessions, as well as small group classes, limited to 5 people. For those of you who still feel safer at home, we offer virtual (via Zoom) privates, semis and group mat classes from the comfort of your own home.

Classes at Bolder Pilates are kept small so that you get more personal attention and instruction (in person classes will now be limited to 4 people for the foreseeable future so this is an amazing deal for basically a semi-private session)! We offer classes via ZOOM for our virtual Program, and in person utilizing the Mat, Reformer, and the Tower/Pole, which will focus on full body toning and conditioning.

I have taken classes with the owner (Donna) for over 15 years. She is amazing. When the studio was first opened, I was slightly hesitant trying different teachers, but they have all been fantastic. During Covid I started taking Zoom classes and continue to be grateful for them while I am spending the winter away this year.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that I have never not felt immediately better after taking a class whether it's private, group, in person, outside or on Zoom. As I approach 60, I know that taking these classes is one of the most important things I can do to keep

The team at Bolder Pilates is incredible. They all have so much enthusiasm for working with clients who live near and far (in person and through the use of virtual services). The studio space is beautiful with bountiful natural light and aesthetically pleasing apparatus and lighting. All of the instructors are welcoming of all bodies and it's truly a great place to be and workout.

I have worked with Di in both private and class instruction for over 5 years and recently joined this studio since she was teaching there. She is an excellent teacher that is endlessly positive and encouraging, while providing detailed instruction that has allowed me to improve and refine my pilates skills over the years. She always tailors to what my needs are and how I best learn, adapting her cues to ensure my understanding. Bolder Pilates is amazing!!! All of the instructors are knowledgeable and committed to serving their clients in the highest. I do classes and privates, and find it helps increase my strength, flexibility, and helps prevent injuries.
Bolder pilates played a huge role in helping me heal from chronic back pain (after 7 years!) and a broken leg. I've been going to this studio for 2 or 3 years and can't imagine ever going anywhere else. Truly the BEST pilates around.

Bolder Pilates has been my go-to pre, during and (will be post) covid. Donna and Lexi (and team) know how to bring a good work out while ensuring good alignment and avoiding injury.
During covid the team got creative and offers in-person as well as virtual pilates. The virtual classes have been butt- kicking and fun. In short- Bolder Pilates is the best studio in Boulder. Highly highly recommended.

This wonderful studio has been my salvation during our long year of lock downs both in the zoom classes initially and the in-studio classes the past few months. I feel totally safe not only regarding the covid protocols, but in the instruction as well. The dedicated teachers are simply the best I've had over the course of my doing pilates for the past several years in a variety of studios. Every class I take leaves me feeling like I am doing right by my body in life-changing ways. I join by zoom and feel 100% safe, connected, guided and fully taken care of. Donna is a gifted teacher and knows how to keep it fun while providing just the right amount of challenge. I practice yoga and have come to find that this really serves a different purpose for me. I have been active my entire adult life. I’ve also suffered a lot of injuries, which created dysfunctional patterns in my body… and pain. Boulder Pilates has helped me re-integrate my body in a way I wasn’t sure was possible. Pilates allows me to continue to do the activities that bring me so much joy, like telemark and skate skiing, cycling, and trail running. A highlight of my sister’s bachelorette weekend was the custom mat+reformer Pilates party at Bolder Pilates. Donna is a wonderful instructor and host! She carefully planned the details of the class to be challenging and fun for the four participants that were new to Pilates and she included special touches to incorporate our celebration. I absolutely LOVE Boulder Pilates! I started going there when I was 34 weeks pregnant and have been going ever since! They were so great at modifying both for my pregnancy and for physical limitations. Ever time I went I felt like I got an amazing workout, and all the instructors were so incredibly welcoming and encouraging. After having a baby I was nervous about getting my strength back. However, the team at Bolder Pilates helped me build back by core and I am happy to report that I have never felt stronger! They really are the best. Would highly recommend!

I don't usually do reviews, but I just wanted to say that this is hands down the best studio in town. I can't say enough about the instructors, they are really excellent! Because of the small class size, everybody feels like they are getting personal attention. Instructors are very skilled and available to help with any questions. The studio is also quaint and very clean, and there is plenty of parking. I am new to pilates and I feel that the instructors have given me confidence in my abilities in a very short time. I highly recommend Boulder Pilates.

I am doing Prenatal one-on-one pilates with Donna and it's great for me to get stronger and ready for my first baby. She is extremely knowledgable, and makes me feel safe and secure as my body changes. I definitely recommend her studio (I have also worked with Lexy who is also great). The studio itself is beautiful and clean.

I went for my first-ever Pilates session this morning and thank goodness Lexy knows what she's doing! As a massage therapist, it's important that I care for my body as best as possible so that I may fully support my clients. This morning's Pilates session was a humbling and rejuvenating experience. I learned so much about my posture, habits, and how to correct them over time. I also experienced quite a mental workout! If you've been trying to "be present" in your meditation practice, well...forget your practice for a while and go do Pilates!

Taking Pilates from Donna has changed my life. I had gotten a headache every day since I was about seven years old but after strengthening my core and working on my posture I have been almost completely headache free for eight years now. I don't often look forward to working out but I always enjoy Donna's classes. She's easy to work with and makes Pilates fun. Pilates with Donna Rosen is like having someone know exactly what's going on with you from the inside so you can be strong from your center out. She is absolutely attuned to her client's needs and I always learn something new whether it's alignment and positioning or just how to heal myself through the correct use of motion. My back hurt from riding my bike and running, and I knew I needed to strengthen my core, but I could never get motivated enough to actually do anything about it until I met Donna Rosen of Bolder Pilates. I had always heard about Pilates, but I had no idea what it was....I was intimidated to start because I'm not particularly coordinated or graceful. Donna started working with me at the most basic level and gave me the confidence to continue. I've had essentially no back pain since and I've stopped taking Advil almost entirely. She is a great teacher and has made a huge difference
