It's Ok, not great. I expected more since the reviews were so good. We went for lunch and started with Crab artichoke dip. I wouldn't order it again. I got a wagyu beef burger which was cooked well and the french fries are skinny, which is my favorite. My husband got a french dip and the meat was good. Our server was also very attentive. The problem was all the details that make a good restaurant. Very limited adult beverages, the iced tea was soooo bad it tasted like instant, even the ketchup was congealed like it was put in a ramekin two days ago and stuck in the walk-in. I would only

Unfortunately, this place has been rather disappointing. The drinks are good. The crab and avocado dip was good. I got the truffle pasta, and I sent it back. It was astonishingly bland, and quite frankly, I thought it would have been a waste of space and calories. I got the spicy tuna roll, which was good, but not better than any spicy tuna roll you'd get at your average college sushi spot. My friends had the burger and the salmon, and both were ok. The fish was slightly bland, the burger was mediocre, overcooked, the bun your average supermarket bread.

I went here for dinner with my dad and it was really nice! Classy and modern atmosphere with no need to dress up (it's Austin!) . It's located close to campus in The Otis Hotel. I got the reservations last-minute and we got a table no problem. Our server was lovely! However, a review isn't fair without a touch of constructive criticism.
The only issue with the food I found was in the shrimp and grits dish. There was only a tiny portion of grits and the dish was more like a stew with peppers. The breadstick wasn't very soft and was hard to bite into.

Stunning....simply stunning. I've been following this restaurant on Instagram for awhile and finally was able to stop in for dinner. It's nestled inside The Otis Hotel and I most definitely plan to be back to stay in there. The restaurant feels very open and inviting. The decor is such a modern vintage retro feel and I felt transported. My plus one had the halibut and I had the filet and we shared the elote street corn. His halibut was well cooked and had nice flavor. The elote street corn was such an explosion of delicious flavor and came highly recommended by our waiter David. The filet

We decided to come here for brunch on a Saturday after hearing good things about it from a friend. It was surprisingly not very busy and was super easy to just valet in the front. We were sat immediately and greeted by our server within moments. We started off with coffee, a Bloody Mary and the house made biscuits. The biscuits were so yummy. We devoured them pretty quickly. Then for our main dishes I ordered the prime rib French dip and my boyfriend order the Wagyu and Eggs. Both of out meals were really good. I especially loved the sandwich and thought the beef jus was flavorful. I&apos

Acre 41 came up in my Google search. The pics looked good and reviews weren't bad. I went there with my wife and 10 year old son. We were hungry and tired. So much so that I totally forgot to take pictures. Aside from our waiter, Louis, who was great, everything else was very mediocre at best.
My cocktail, vodka soda, was all soda and a splash of vodka. My wife asked to sample a wine and she was brought a whole glass instead. I'm thinking it was because it was $23 per glass.
The food--my son had chicken fingers that had more batter than chicken. My Caesar salad had croutons that were

I was very much not a fan of this burrito. The salsa just completely overshadowed every thing else that was in it. The potatoes were pretty good, as was the chicken sausage by itself. It's a very nice restaurant right near the campus of the University of Texas. I can't say I'd choose to come here again but if I did find myself back I'd try and come for dinner instead.

The easiest 5-star rating I can remember giving!
The food, service, and ambiance were all fantastic.
Food: Appetizers, entrees, and desserts were all awesome. We started with the barratta to start was great and the bread was so good! The halibut was amazing; it was a really, really small portion though. The desserts were fantastic. The key lime meringue was the best key lime pie I've ever had and our group also got the chocolate/peanut butter-type pie which was delicious.
Service: really great waiter, fast service. They do a great job!

We had three dinners and three breakfasts at Acre 41 while staying at the AC Hotel by Marriott, connected to the Otis Hotel (Autograph Collection by Marriott), where the restaurant is located.
The portion sizes were plentiful, service attentive even coming out of COVID, and the ambiance was relaxing.
The food, service and hospitality were outstanding. Kudos to executive chef Martin Wilda and team for concocting an interesting menu and preparing everything to perfection.
We liked Acre 41 so much, we plan to return next week when on a college drop off.

Not worth the price. The Halibut my husband got was undercooked/almost raw and didn't have much flavor. It also had a fishy smell to it and had too much oil on it. got the burger and it was dripping in grease. For $20 for a burger I definitely did not expect the low quality of bun (bun was smashed) and presentation of the burger (it was sliding off the bun). The bun was also soggy from all the grease. My fires were cold. Overall a disappointing visit. Gave three stars because the drinks were really good and so were the appetizers.
The desserts were a hit and a miss. We got the Peanut butter

Nice service! I went on a Sunday night and ordered the wagyu burger medium rare. The burger was cooked to perfection and was super juicy. The fries were also crunchy and super tasty.
Our waiter, Kate took excellent care of us and made sure all of our needs were taken off. This spot is a nice restaurant to visit in the UT Austin campus area.

Acre 41 is located inside the Otis hotel. The restaurant is stunning and looks very upscale. The atmosphere is perfect for date night or special occasions. They have a large and beautiful bar that serves as a centerpiece and sets the vibe immediately as you walk in.
I tried the Blue Crab & Artichoke Dip, Truffled Spaghetti, and Ode to a Nightingale cocktail. The dip was great to share. It was very creamy and had a lot of crab. The Truffled Spaghetti looks deceivingly small in pictures but the portion is perfect as a main dish. I really enjoyed it as an entree. The mezcal cocktail was really

This restaurant is located in the Otis hotel. It's obviously convenient if you are staying there but it has a great menu for being a hotel restaurant so give it a try even if you aren't staying there. I tried the truffle spaghetti based on the reviews and was definitely not disappointed at all! The waiter suggested adding salmon, shrimp or chicken, I went with the shrimp. OMG it was fantastic. It was a very generous portion with three very large prawns. Pasta cooked perfectly al dente. I wish I could have eaten it all but was stuffed.

Must visit. This is my second time visiting Acre 41 and it doesn't disappoint. Wide selection of wines, cocktails, mock tails, apps and entrees. Started with the iron skillet cornbread which was super moist and fulfilling. Also had the crab dip which was super rich with tons of crab filling hit the spot! Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant in the lobby of the Otis Hotel. The service is unmatched. The food is absolutely amazing - everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal, Highly recommend

We went to Acre 41 for a date night out, and we are so happy with our decision! For starters, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful, but it is a little noisy with the open kitchen, and connecting hotel lobby, so it's not the choice for a quiet, intimate dinner, if that's what you're looking for. The service was impeccable, and everyone was so attentive!
We ordered the belly on pork chop, and the cilantro halibut for dinner, with sides of pommes puree and the roasted asparagus. It was all just heavenly!!! I actually wish now that we would have ordered an appetizer, because the food

Five thousand stars for service and friendliness!!! Every staff member who I met was nice and made my happy hour special! I will admit, I was only there for the **half off happy hour special***, but I would really love to come back for a meal.
Happy hour is Monday through Friday 5-7. The spiced cider mule is a perfect, light drink to unwind too. It's not strong (no mule is) so it's a great starter of a slow evening.
The staff followed strict COVID rules. Everyone wore masks. A lot of staff asked how I was enjoying everything and asked if I need anything. Super attentive staff!
