Voted "Best of Phoenix" Anzio's Italian Restaurant is the place to go in the area for authentic Italian cuisine and an atmosphere that conjures up memories of Italy. Red brick walls, Italian landscaped paintings, warm lighting, comfortable green booths, and cherry wood furniture make Anzio's inviting and cozy.
The feeling is only enhanced by the menu, an extensive and well versed selection of traditional Italian favorites. For more than two decades, Kevin and Barbara Mollohan have been serving their community with only the freshest and finest ingredients as well as creating an atmosphere that will make you feel as if you are part of the Anzio's family.

In the pursuit of our dream to own an Italian restaurant, Barbara and I left the snowy winters of Ohio and relocated to the sunshine of Phoenix. After being in the valley only a few short months we opened our doors in the fall of 1986. This would not have been possible without the foresight, determination, and hard work of my parents Ira and Janice.

Started off as a lunch with co-workers..then turned into a 5 star whole-in-the-wall.
I'm not much of an Italian lover...but this place changed my mind.
The restaurant was a vibe inside.
The food was delish.
But the dessert...my God...the dessert.
Only been there once, but planning a next visit soon.
SO GOOD.

I was out and about doing some antique shopping and asked a friend where's some good places to eat out in that area. They had suggested Anzio's. I'm so glad they did as this place was delicious. Staff was friendly and made sure drinks were filled and everything was ok. I ordered the baked rigatoni with ricotta. I also had a side Caesar with it which was the best side Caesar I've ever had. Freshly shaved Parmesan on it and delicious croutons. The pasta itself was hot and delicious along with the toasted bread that came with it. I'd definitely recommend this wonderful Italian

Good food. Ok priced and it's really not the restaurants fault but the neighborhood it's located in can be a bit scary. I know it's changed a lot since the methadone clinic opened right across the street, but you might want to go with a group or not carry cash on you. My party and I were asked when we were getting in my car for money.

GREAT PLACE!! Family owned since '86. Kevin and KC and the rest are very supportive of the neighborhood and create some amazing food. You don't stay busy for 35+ years without having great food. Once you step inside the restaurant it's gorgeous. The neighborhood has went down hill sure unfortunately due to being so close to the interstate and the changing business, but Anzio's is as good or better than ever.
Kevin was kind enough to allow us to film scenes for an upcoming film there, and couldn't have been more gracious.

If you are looking for good food or a nice night out with a date, this is a great option. Really great Lasagna and Pizza, and more. We had a party of 15 here and everyone was happy. That's hard to do. Same owner has been there for 35+ years and his son KC is great as well along with the rest of the staff. Nice ambiance, great service, no complaints, and I'm a 20+ yr customer living in the neighborhood.
We also filmed a couple movies at this location in 2020 and 2021, Whiskey Sour and Parole. The staff was beyond amazing to us, and I'm excited for the restaurant to

Visited here as a traveler without prior knowledge. The restaurant in the less-than-desirable side of Phx in a bad neighborhood. Clientele were all low middle class to upper low class. This is not the restaurant to choose if you are looking for a nice outing. Combo appetizer was quite good. Chicken Parmigiano was overcooked to the point of toughness and the breading was mush. The side salads are what you would expect from a hospital cafeteria: stale iceberg. Their wine menu is laughable. It is all bottomshelf wine at prices for midrange wine: bottle of Beringer for $30... that is a wine commonly

The food was decent, although a bit overpriced for what it was. We started with the combination appetizer, which came with fried zucchini, fried mushrooms, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. All of which were quite tasty and paired very well with their basil-heavy marinara. I ordered the shrimp scampi as my main, which tasted fine, but seemed to have a certain microwaved quality from restaurant-grade pre-packaged meals. This aside, the shrimps were tender, and the restaurant gets points for its consideration to remove the tails before putting them in the saucy pasta (thank you for that). The wine

Great angel hair pasta with alfredo sauce!! Super appetizer of fried ravioli combo. Daughter had the spaghetti with meat balls which she said was delicious. Dessert was nutella banana cheesecake and it was sood good and cold and tasty, great choice. Had missed this place not been here in about 8 months. Do yourself a favor and visit soon.

I hold a high standard for authentic Italian food. Hey, I married a half Italian and grew up around very proud cooks in Little Italy. I found the best places were those "holes in the wall" in those strip malls or old buildings that you would never think of exploring for amazing ethnic food. As soon as I saw Anzios was in strip mall and the parking lot was overloaded, I had a good gut feeling.
Since there was a long wait and I was on my own, I chose to sit at the bar. Very comfortable and old fashioned decor all around. Started out with a peach sangria which was strong and very fresh

I ordered on Uber Eats. My food came in time and was a good temperature. Everything was packaged perfectly.
Fettuccine Alfredo was OK. Very creamy but lacked flavor. I wanted to order the trio but decided against it. I should’ve stuck with my gut and gotten the mixed platter instead.
Pepperoni pizza was much better than I thought it would be based on other’s pictures. Good flavor but was greasy on the bottom.
Fried raviolis (meat and cheese) was also OK. Good crunch and decent flavor. I think it might taste better with my own marinara.
Banana Nutella cheesecake is the best thing I received

Happened upon this spot with a Groupon special I purchased. The restaurant is just off of Hwy 17 in North Phoenix. Easy drive, even if there is considerable traffic. On a Friday night, it took us about 50 minutes from where we live. The restaurant is tucked away off the main drag, and you kinda have to know its there otherwise you may go right past it.
We arrived about 6:30 PM on Friday night, pleased to be sat right away. They were fairly busy and could notice the amount of " To Go" rush with pizzas.
The dining room has an Italian family reunions feel. Enjoyed the decor which transports

This place really wowed me. Like when you approached the outside it dosent look like much but walking in is a total change. The service was 100% fantastic our server Mitzy was amazing. The food was to die for, I have been looking for a great Italian restaurant and I think I have now found my go to place. As well as when you are a new customer and you order dessert you get a little welcome message on it, I recommend coming here and giving it a try.

The food here for this little restaurant was awesome. Ceasar salad wS one of the best and came with a chilled fork on a chilled plate.
I ordered the combination trio, substituted the eggplant for the chicken paramsean, and added shrimp to the alfredo.
As other reviews have said, the alfredo and the garlic toast are the best.
Cheers to our waitress Hailey.
