I'm Dorcas and am the creator of FinaLee Floral Cakes. I am a baker who loves to incorporate fresh flowers with scratch-baked cakes. My love of baking started back when I was in high school when I would bake cakes and desserts for friends as gifts for their birthdays and events. After obtaining my Bachelor's in Business and my Associate's in Patisserie and Baking, I started my baking career in Pasadena, CA.

That's why all of our products and unique flavors are always handcrafted, made to order in small batches, and made from real ingredients without preservatives or additives. I'm sure that it's obvious at this point with FinaLee Floral Cakes receiving only 5-star reviews that the cakes are outstanding. I will say the only issue that I ran into was the cake flavoring since I had to share it with kids as well as adults, so I needed to find a flavor that worked for everyone. In the end, I chose the pistachio strawberry rose flavor, and it was a HUGe hit. Everyone took pictures and asked where I got the cake from.

So i was looking for a cake that was simple, elegant, and done as perfect as can be. I did not want a cake that was custom made but looks sloppy. I looked at every person on yelp that was doing custom made cakes, even those that did celebrity cakes. No one had a cake that was structurally and proportionately well done. For our baby's gender reveal, I didn't just want a generic, store bought looking/tasting cupcake, I wanted it to be special and a treat for my family! I had a great experience with FinaLee Floral Cakes! Ordered a Lemon Blueberry combination, with REAL flowers on top, for a birthday celebration. Cake was a work of art! We stared at it quite a while before finally deciding to "destroy" it by eating it! When we did, we found the cake delicious. Moist, flavorful, excellent frosting (sweet of course but not overly as with many cake frostings).
And the personal service was excellent in designing the cake, and it was hand delivered to our door right on time!

This is the second time I have ordered a cake from Finalee Floral Cakes, and I have been extremely impressed both times. The first time I got the cake tasting box for Mother's Day. That was a way to try four different flavors, all of which were excellent. We (GF, the kids, and I) all had the same favorite (Earl Grey), so I knew that I would get that for my GF's birthday. So I ordered an Earl Grey floral cake last week, and it turned out fantastic! My GF was extremely impressed with the quality of the floral decoration and the cake itself. I wanted to send my friend some cupcakes for her birthday and I'm so glad I found FinaLee. Dorcas was kind, professional, and so patient with all my questions and changes. I ordered Strawberry Thyme flavor cupcakes and WOW, they were soo delicious, highly recommend. I wasn't sure what kind of design I wanted for these Christmas cupcakes and the owner was so helpful with ideas. I went with frosting designs of Christmas trees and wreaths and was so pleased by her work ! Also , I'm not someone who enjoys too much frosting and this amount was perfect and didn't taste too heavily sweet either. Looking forward to ordering again !!

My bridesmaids surprised me with mini cupcakes for my bridal shower from FinaLee Floral Cakes. They were so beautiful and carefully crafted! We had Strawberry frosting with Thyme cupcakes which was my favorite and such an interesting combo! Early grey and matcha chocolate which are both delicious as well!
