Northcon, Inc. was founded by owners Randy and Renay Smith in 1977. The newly formed Native American owned company quickly grew from subcontract work, in the multiple facets of interior finish trades, to operating as a general contractor focusing on commercial and residential projects.
In this period of growth and transition, Randy and Renay recognized the value of serving customers' needs and committed to "customer satisfaction" as the primary business focus for Northcon.In 1992, Randy and Renay made a strategic decision to relocate their family, home, and business to Hayden, Idaho.

In 2010, Northcon was pleased to be accepted as a partner with OSHA. This represents a long-term commitment to excellence in safety. This partnership has taken our safety program to the next level. OSHA Partnerships are formalized through a unique agreement designed to encourage, assist, and recognize partnering efforts to eliminate serious hazards and achieve model workplace safety and health practices.
Orders have run the gamut of HVAC work, interior renovations, Army training ranges, road repairs, electrical work, Air Force training simulator, etc. I rate performance as exceptional. Northcon is one of the finest contractors I've worked with in the last 25 years. Northcon was presented this award from SBA in recognition of our business success in growth for Region 10.

My company has done business with Northcon for years now and hands down the company is one of the best, most ethical and upstanding companies I have ever dealt with. Everyone from the owners to management and staff goes out of their way to make working together seamless and easy. I can not recommend a company more highly.
