At FIT, we're constantly looking to grow our core team with professional personal trainers who are committed to getting results, growing our collective knowledge and having fun a long the way. Compensation for each trainer is commiserate with their experience as well as the existing book of business they are able to enroll at FIT. Opportunities for new clients exist in both in-person and virtual formats.
After being diagnosed as a Type 1 Diabetic when I was 15, personal training became a passion and something that I had always wanted to. It was appealing to not only to help other people but also to hold myself accountable. There is a huge variance of quality in this industry- after the 18 years of experience I have acquired and with all the trainers I know, I would only let a few of them train my mother.
Personal Training is similar to home improvement shows. The finished product is far more exciting than the actual work that goes into it. But similar to those shows, you have professionals to guide you along the way. Most personal trainers have worked with a variety of skill sets, personalities, and ages.
I wanted to see people change their lives through fitness and personal training was the best avenue to help others reach their goals! First off, when you walk in the door and you hear Coach Marvin's laugh, you know it's going to be a good day! Marvin's infectious energy makes me actually want to come work out and put in the time to better myself.
I love being able to push my limits while continuing to keep good form. Realizing how much strength I have gained over the years has me wanting to gain more strength and compete in a meet someday. I decided to pursue personal training because I wanted to make an affect and difference in people's lives.

As a long-time exercise guy spanning multiple sports and fitness/trainer programs, I'm a a fan of FIT. I love the name "fit". The attention to detailed progress and overall "fitness" from a variety of angles is second to none. While the wife and I primarily work with one awesome trainer, every one of the other ones have backed him up at some point in time. I feel balanced and the progress over the past year have exceeded my expectations. I'm not really a diet or real-time virtual session guy (that may change after work travel resumes after COVID) but they offer those services as well. Give them

I was in town visiting a family member who uses Marvin as their personal trainer. Not only did Marvin allow me to use the weights and equipment while my family member was doing their workout, he even got me involved in their workout. He was a super nice guy with a lot of energy, enthusiasm, and encouragement. I would recommend him as a personal trainer if you live in the area.

The trainers here are the absolutely best. In5 weeks I have dropped 11 lbs. If you are tired of being out of shape and tired, get in here. If you're worried about the money, think about the amount of money it will cost you later on for medications and Drs to treat the ailments that come with not exercising or not eating right. It's a lifestyle change but you will enjoy it. Through the sweat comes determination and if you're determined and are ready to get healthy, I highly recommend this place. Every single trainer here is knowledgeable helpful and fun. So glad to be a part off this

I have been a member of FIT for over seven years. I can honestly say I have NEVER found a gym to be as much of a “home” as FIT. From the minute I walk in, I feel the friendliness and support from every single trainer there. This is what separates FIT from other gyms out there. I was looking for a gym near me and found FIT @ SBR. I have been training at FIT almost since they opened. My wife and son have been training there also for years. Will, Marvin, Rodney and Katy are excellent trainers that really care about their client. They are trainers, life coaches, nutritionists and friends all rolled into one. They will get results for you that you will not get on your own. They will become important parts of your life!

When I joined FIT 2 years ago, I had no idea I would find someone as equally committed to my success as my trainer, Will. When everyone else told me I couldn't do it, Will told me I can. And then he showed me how in a way that made me want to learn more and not quit. Every workout with Will is high-energy, fun and different! He gives 200% of himself to his clients and pushes me to do more and be better every week. I have been going to FIT for approximately 2 years and it truly has been one of the best decisions I have made! Prior to joining FIT, I would join a gym with the best intentions of working out; however, I would feel overwhelmed in the weight room and my nutrition was less than ideal. FIT offered everything I need in helping me lose weight and drop several sizes, but most importantly, my trainer Will, helped me understand what my body needed with adequate nutrition. I've been training at FIT for about a year and a half, and I absolutely love it! The trainers are excellent - knowledgeable, not at all intimidating, and truly care about you as an individual and want to help you meet *your* specific goals. I love the focus on overall health and functional strength and fitness - fitness that helps me in my busy mom life. I train with Seth, but I've had great workouts with all the trainers. I'd recommend FIT to anyone wanting to get strong and healthy!

I love FIT! I have been a member of so many gyms around McKinney, but FIT is the BEST! I have always worked out consistently but never really got results. After just a couple of weeks at FIT I could feel and see my body changing. Personal accountability is the key - it's so easy to get in a rut and just go run your miles, lift the same weights but in order to achieve results, you've got to challenge yourself. FIT Trainers are there to give you that push to really give it all you've got, and to try things you haven't tried before that really target your focus areas. AND it's fast! A 30 minute FIT

I have worked out at FIT since it has opened! I specifically workout with Seth in a partner training session twice a week. The workouts are functional and different every week so you never get tired if the same ole routine. The trainers are great about working around my busy work schedule. Seth has helped me achieve my personal goals and increased my strength with weight training. I've worked out with all of the trainers at different times.
