The owner Matt is a great man. He's honest, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I needed a new engine and he went to great pains to find it. In addition he made sure he found the best used motor that was available. He kept me informed of the status throughout the whole process. I really appreciate that. His mechanic Jon is top notch! Very through and dedicated to perfection in his work. Everyone was professional and easy to deal with.

There's nothing bad I can say about this shop! Hands down, it has been the best experience I've had at an automotive shop in a very long time. I am prepping my vehicle for a cross-country trip and wanted to go somewhere other than Ford knowing that dealership's

- We had one car towed because it was not running.
- The towing guy delivered to their parking space/ place by mistake, it was supposed to be delivered to the next unit.
- The towing guy went inside this place and gave our information, a rude guy called us asking why we bring the car there, instead of win a customer for then, this dude tell me to move our car if 15 minutes or we will get a $50 charge for storage per day.

Flower Hill is an excellent example of what we all look for in a great mechanic. I recently had a starter go out. They had the car towed and running in no time flat. The team is extremely friendly and absolutely knowledgeable. My extended family has been going there for years, I plan to do the same!

Took my ford crown vic lx 2011 to this shop because it was recommended by most folks in the "Nextdoor" app (close to my house). I was not disappointed. The car had a squeak everytime I drove it or it would go on a bump, etc. The shop took it and found out it needed replacement of some bushing arms. They did not pressured me to anything, gave me the estimate, and gave me plenty of time to decide. I had that squeak for a while and it was driving me crazy so when I drove it without the sound. I could not believe it.

Hooray for Flower Hill Automotive! They are my heroes. I have had an ongoing electrical issue for ~6 years during which the local dealership service centers have not correctly diagnosed. After paying them thousands of dollars for many alternators and batteries, I was fed up and went looking for a new shop. Enter in Matt and Manly. They are the first to actually diagnose the real problem rather than bandaid the situation. They have been very professional, effective and well worth the fair amount charged. I will continue to bring my car here for both the cost value and the value of my sanity. Thanks

I absolutely love this mechanic. I have taken my car in a few times because it felt like it was driving really hard. A lot of mechanics would try to find something wrong just to charge you for something.
Matt drive my car around for a little bit. He could feel what I was talking about but after checking the car out he decided that my car just feels like it drives this way normally. He couldn't find anything wrong. Sure enough, since I am writing this review YEARS after this happened, I have never had an issue with the car. I have only had to do normal maintenance to it.

Best shop in Gaithersburg. I have a 1998 cargo van that I drive all around town everyday operating my business. When ever my 18 year old van has an issue I take it right up to Flower Hill auto & they always find the problem. Fix it for me in a great timely manner. Great prices & they whole staff is friendly!

These guys are great! Manley and Matt were extremely helpful in helping me throughout the process of getting my new tires shipped and installed on my truck. Additionally, they were able to discover that my truck's alignment was slightly off, which the Ford dealer stated was good. They are a rare honest shop. Thanks guys!

Matt and his team are Honest, Friendly, Respectful. They never talk down to me or at me. Manley or Nick or Matt actively listen to me and ask questions to better understand what is going on before looking under the hood. They keep great records of work completed so they can refer back to previous work . This has saved $$$ not repeating the same fix. I recommend the Flower Hill Automotive team any day of the week!

5 STARS ***** When I called to make an appointment, Manley really listened carefully as I described the problem. He answered all of my questions completely, thoroughly and professionally. I could tell that my car would be in good hands. I dropped it off Monday night and by Tuesday afternoon, it was done and I was on my way. In addition, Flower Hill Automotive doesn't charge a fee to diagnose the problem. I wish I had found this gem sooner! Thanks!

I have been bringing my cars here since moving to the area 8 years ago. In addition to the flexible scheduling and the fair pricing, I never feel like i've been lied to about needing repairs when I really didn't. All the work is done to spec and the car is always returned cleaned and ready to go. Additionally they have been great about talking me through problems or repairs that I've wanted to address on my own.

Possibly the best auto repair shop I have ever dealt with in my life! Had been having expensive car issues with another auto repair shop, I brought my car here based on a recommendation from a colleague. The service was EXCELLENT! They fixed the issues I was having for a very fair rate, had great communication, and were just very nice people. After moving to Maryland I was a little concerned about finding a good place to bring my car, but now I won't go anywhere else.

Took my Ford Explorer in cause it died on me. The guys at Flower Hill were Awesome treated me great and took care of me right away. Ended up having to get a new battery and a new starter. Took it in at 4pm on Monday got a call at 5:30pm of the problem and they had me on my way by noon very next day. labor and parts was $435.00 very fair price for what I needed and the time was short so No Complaints about this place. Probably one of the few Auto Repair places that are actually HONEST and Fair. I HIGHLY Recommend Flower Hill Auto.
