Contact the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD) immediately at (313) 267-7401 upon discovery of an overflow or backup of a sewer. State law requires you file a written claim with DWSD within 45 days after the overflow or backup was discovered.

In regards to Brookestone at Edgewater: I wish I could give it 0 stars!! I cannot tell you how much I do not recommend these terrible and outdated townhomes. The management here is unresponsive to say the least. The two time we had complaints we had no response. They couldn’t even be bothered to email us back. Parking is an absolute nightmare. We have almost been hit head on several times coming around the corner in our community due to the excess of cars parked on the street. If you want an overpriced home with no amenities and faulty plumbing this is the place for you. If all that wasn’t

Its an amazing place to live I don’t have any issues with the management or staff, maintenance is fast at service requests, move in was fast. Management is very welcoming and just happy to be living here and especially since I’m new to Tempe Area. No issues, neighborhood is great and I’m around many places, shops, grocery stores, freeways. I would totally recommend.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
Nice community and very safe which was my number priority for choosing site. Leasing/maintenance staff are very friendly and help with any issue you have. Have nice amenities and it feels more like a home than an apartment. Would recommend it to anyone moving to the tempe area.

It has been 7 months since I moved out of a property owned by this place and I have yet to receive my security deposit back. This company does not care about the tenants that lived at one of the properties they managed. This place is just a bunch of crooks. Grove at city center is one in the same. Crooks

I should have read the other reviews prior to investing time/effort/money in to cleaning my apartment.
The management team understood that my move-in form and how I left the apartment are identical. Still charged me ~$500 all told for cleaning, labor, and touch ups that were both unnecessary and obviously ridiculously over target. This makes zero sense.
Pretty lame after surviving an entire year with their abysmal management to then get kicked in the teeth one last time as I walk out the door.

The management at my current apartment complex changed hands, however prior to that I moved from a two bedroom to a one bedroom which involved me getting a refund from all prior deposits. I received a final incorrect invoice for an amount of $251.93. I notified leasing office to let them know of the error, which was prior to the property changing hands from Security Properties Residential. They placed a call to them notifying of the error and what the correct amount should be per the updated invoice they sent me for $476.99. I was told 2 weeks before the check would arrive. 3 1/2 weeks later,,
