She does not judge, is a great listener and is not surprised by anything you say.only supportive in focusing on helping you trust your gut, to find your path in life and to be strong in picking yourself up to follow it. Services
I offer therapeutic services for both individuals and couples, and I have experience working with adolescents, teens, adults and seniors. You are welcome to contact me if you have questions regarding my practice or just counseling in general. The most successful counseling experience occurs when the client has rapport with the therapist, so it is important to find someone you resonate with.
It all begins in the mind. Your thoughts are responsible for your happiness or unhappiness, anxiety and depression. You can learn how to manage your thoughts. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has been proven through research to be more successful at treating depression than medication. You can learn techniques to restructure your thoughts and quiet the mind.
Kris has been providing counseling services for 20 years. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies from LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco in California. Her counseling career began when she completes a year-long assignment at the Center For the Prevention of Child Abuse in San Francisco while counseling low-income parents who were at risk for child abuse.

Opened and reopened a lot of wounds with no strategy to heal.
Cannot recommend to anyone experiencing control issues or trauma. The sessions did not have direction and many of her comments were critical or judgmental - examples: she told me often I was difficult to work with. Told me I was closed and needed to be more open and didn't explain how. We did have a good first session with some homework and guide documents but come to find out those were the only tools she relied on after starting treatment.
Many of the sessions (had at least 5) also included recaps of her personal experience with

Kris is a an absolutely fantastic therapist. I came to her to help me work out some depression and negative thought patterns during a difficult time and she was always extremely patient, understanding, and professional. She always made me identify the underlying issues without judgement or lecturing. I really don't think I could have found anyone better to help me and I always walked away from our sessions feeling much better and more at ease. Her office is great too and she makes billing/insurance a breeze.
