What are your Thanksgiving holiday hours? When will your Thanksgiving dessert specials be available? All of our dessert specials will be available from Friday, 11/19 to Wednesday, 11/24. The exceptions are the Normandy Apple Tart, which will be available Friday-Sunday, and the Apple Crumble Pie, which will be available Monday-Wednesday.
Place dough on lightly floured surface and begin to press flat with your fingertips. Let dough rest for five minutes. Repeat pressing and resting until desired thickness and size is achieved, typically 1/4 thick. Dough will become softer and easier to stretch as it warms to room temperature, so be patient!

Ordered: Bouchon, The Morning Bun, Rustic Olive Bread, Chocolate Chunk Cookie, Pain de Mie
I came in the morning soon after they opened and there was already a line outside the door. They have a huge selection of fresh breads and pastries. Overall, everything I got was pretty tasty! The bouchon was very rich and chocolatey, and the cookie was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, the perfect texture. Surprisingly, I also loved the white bread, which was light and fluffy. Definitely recommend checking this place out! They have such a wide variety that there's something for everyone

Came back here Sunday morning to get breads that were sold out when we came later in the day. We got there at 9 am and there was already a long line. We waited 30-minutes to get to the front of the line.
What we ordered:
Raspberry croissant: $4.00
Almond croissant $4.00
Ham and cheese croissant $5.25
All croissant had perfectly laminated. Light and crisp and went perfectly with the filling. I've never had a raspberry croissant and was pleasantly surprised how well the harmony was. Almond croissant had almond crunch in the filling that brought an extra nuttiness to the bread.
Happy for all

I've visited most of the "top rated" bakeries in Boston, and Clear Flour is the clear winner. I travel quite a bit out of my way to get to Clear Flour. Their bread and pastries are of the absolute highest quality - in my view, quite a step above all the rest. Their rustic tarts are amazing - incredible laminated pastry, and fantastic fruit. Their German rye bread is outstanding! And on and on. Let me say that everything I've tried has been top notch. The staff are super friendly and helpful and kind. I also love that they take Covid seriously and only let in 3 customers at a time. Also fantastic

I went here around a month ago to pick up fresh bread. I got there at 8am when they open and already there was a line! I bought a loaf of the Italian Pave. It was excellent-- crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside. I do wish they had the Italian loaves I'm used to (as a New York native)-- the longer, thinner loaves coated in sesame seeds, but alas. The baked goods here also look phenomenal, but I've never tried one.
One thing to note is that there isn't really any seating. There are a few tables outside on the curb, but nothing inside. It's a great place if you&apos

Excellent bakery. Good variety of pastries, staple breads, and committed to high quality ingredients and final products. I got the spinach egg croissant and the currant baked donut. Both 10/10. I don’t know how they managed to get a yeast donut texture without the frying but WOW they’ve cracked the code on that one (and that’s coming from a donut lover…). I’ll definitely be coming back with a larger backpack to fit more goodies!

I consider myself to be the ultimate regular of Clear Flour.
My parents lived around the corner from Clear Flour in college and would regularly come to buy morning buns. Now, I've lived in the area for 5 years and have been frequenting Clear Flour ever since! Their breads are amazing, as are their pastries! My favorites are the rustic Italian bread and olive rolls but all of the other breads I've tried have been great as well!
For pastries, their morning buns are always great, as are the croissants, cookies, tarts, etc. I've never had a bad experience! Lines can be long on weekend

I have no photos because a friend picked up some bread before coming over to study but this bread made me so happy.
We tried the olive rolls & sesame sticks... *chefs kiss*
I mixed some olive oil & oregano to dip, but honestly the olive rolls were great on their own. The olive bits made the bread nice and salty, the crust had just the right crunch, the inside was so soft & fluffy. 100% will be back on my own to grab some more baked goods.
What a great place! Tucked away off the side of Comm Ave.

There is nothing better than fresh baked bread to warm a German's heart. Clear Flour Bakery makes the best bread I have found in the US. And the dude that served me was the greatest charm I have encountered in a year. My hit list: 1. Pretzel croissant (I think that's what they call it. I would call it Laugencroissant. - I hear that it sells out often.), 2. Dunkelbrot, 3. Pretzel.
Tip: Don't overbuy. Go often if you can. Baked goods are the best only on the same day.

Forgot all about this hidden gem until a visit to the neighborhood prompted a drive by. So unassuming but unmistakable by that smell of fresh bread. Could there be a better smell??!! I think not!
Lines are long ( particularly in Covid times) but your patience will be rewarded. Cookies ( molasses and C chip to die for!) and breads of all imaginable shapes and makes. And for the creative types try a pizza kit. Whatever you choose Clear Flour never disappoints. NEVER ... And as a bonus- some of their cookie proceeds support the local food pantry. Now that's a five star!! Enjoy!
