Holly at Own It Fitness AZ is wonderful. She has helped me get back into my active lifestyle after graduating and entering the workforce at a sedentary job. I have met goals, made new ones and have met those as well. "Looking good" is one thing, but FEELING GOOD about yourself is another.. and I believe that Holly has allowed me to accomplish both.

Since training with Coach Holly with Own It Fitness, I have found renewed confidence and energy. The first few months of the quarantine were very challenging, and I found myself sedentary and struggling to the day the least. There was one day when I went to take a walk, and I called my husband nearly in tears less than a quarter mile from my house… completely stiff and barely able to move! Holly is an amazing coach! I was looking for someone that would be a "real person" and not super over the top or cheesy like I have gotten in the past. Holly is so knowledgeable and she listens to what your personal goals are and devises a plan based on your needs and wants. She has taught me so much about nutrition and strength training. My journey began with Coach Holly at the beginning of the pandemic. I decided instead of sitting in eating and not exercising, that I would follow a healthy meal plan and exercise routine, developed by Coach… Holly @OwnitFitness . In addition to my daily walking, I am using strength building with weights, cardio and have also started doing yoga. I feel so much more energy, and see my body changing in ways I didn’t think possible. I’m also more aware of my food choices.

My work with Holly has truly been transformational. I was a bit skeptical about even working with a trainer again because in the past it felt like the trainers main goal was to find your breaking point and push you way past it. I would work with trainers and be sore for days later and on super restrictive diets that made it hard to follow through. I expressed my concerns to Holly and she assured me that she was skilled in meeting me where I was and would help me consistently gain strength, energy and meet my fitness goals. Being pregnant working mother during a pandemic was one of the most challenging things I had to go through. I obviously had to put my physical and mental health last in order to keep up with a demanding job and a toddler. I contacted Coach Holly 4 weeks postpartum, on the verge of postpartum depression, and it was the best thing I have done for myself in a very long time. Working with Holly the past 3 months helped me feel in control again, in control of my body and in control of my life. I felt happier, stronger and more disciplined about taking care of myself. Gone are the days of making excuses not to exercise! I no longer dread working out. Coach Holly's program is motivating, achievable, and delivers visible results! Holly got me set up on an exercise routine that I could use at home. She also helped me with nutrition via myfitnesspal. We tracked my daily steps which motivated me to get back to walking regularly again. Now I’m at 12k or more a day! I don’t have much experience with exercise, but she always made me feel comfortable and confident. Regardless of my health limitations, she designed workouts that were perfect for me. Holly is an amazing personal trainer who focuses on your individual needs and goals. She created a personalized diet and workout plan that helped me exceed my goals of losing 20 pounds and having a very toned figure! My arthritis can be very limiting to working out and the moves I can do.
