Wellness examinations are the cornerstone of health care for your pet. It is far easier, safer, and less costly to prevent medical problems than it is to treat them after they occur. Routine physical examinations and discussions of your pet's health allow our veterinary team to make sure your pet stays healthy.

When we examine your pet we will evaluate their nutritional status and make specific recommendations regarding proper nutrition for your pet. We will take in to consideration your pet's age, weight, activity level, and existence of any special medical conditions. We treat our patients as if they were our own pets, and our clients as if they were members of our families.
Dental disease is an often overlooked threat to the comfort and health of your pet. Because dental disease often has few readily apparent signs, bringing your pet in for a wellness examination is the only way to ensure detection. Following this exam, your veterinarian may recommend a particular dental cleaning schedule, oral care routine, or special treatment based on your pet's dental health needs.
At Carolina Pets Animal Hospital we offer spa bathing for dogs and cats. Each spa treatment includes a deep cleaning massage bath, brush out (our long-haired friends will receive a FURminator Shedless Treatment), mat removal, ear cleaning, nail trim, and blow dry. An anal gland expression is included, but only performed upon request.

The entire team -from the front office to the providers, was accommodating and compassionate. They helped us get an appointment quickly and Dr. Myers was very thorough. She listened and asked questions to ensure she understood our dog’s history of symptoms. She offered creative solutions and made us feel our pet’s issue was a top priority for her. The office called to check-in on his progress. I could not possibly be more impressed.

Each Doctor and tech are so caring and good with my fur kids. They really spend time talking with me about my pets’ health and when we lost our 13 year old chihuahua earlier this year they were so kind and caring. I feel like my pets are special to them but I’m sure they are like that with all their patients!
