At Amore Restaurant and Wine Bar, we celebrate great food and wine in true Italian tradition, using the freshest seasonal ingredients for meals you won't soon forget. Chef Pasquale learned to cook in his hometown of Torre del Greco, Naples, on Italy's beautiful Amalfi coast. He honed his skills preparing traditional Italian meals for family members before eventually bringing his talents stateside.
His famous recipes, attention to detail, and commitment to using only the freshest seasonal and house-made ingredients have earned him a loyal following throughout the Rochester area, where he's headed up the kitchen at several acclaimed restaurants. We're excited to have Pasquale leading the way at Amore, bringing you the best Italian cuisine in town.

My companion and I were the only ones seated in the quiet bar area. I had the eggplant Parmesan which was a modest portion of the vegetable served with crostini. Great vegetarian selection, and the dessert menu also looks great... Though you could just walk into the grocery store itself and by a cannoli for less! Also, very helpful and friendly service. I'll be back next time I'm in town!

Ok *DISCLAIMER* this is for dessert and cocktails only
In all the times I go to this Wegmans it's attached to it's not top of mind for me to go to dinner here. Now I understand they have specials and good happy hour and etc. I would have to agree with other reviewers on the decor it's like faux Tuscan Villa meets modern chairs and whatnot. Ok your bar chats at the bar.. oh my butt.. they are not comfortable at all.
Ok we came for After Dinner Cocktails and Dessert. We walked in seemed fine enough m. The hostess asked us if we had a reservation we said no just wanted dessert and

Well I finally ate here - how long has this place been open? With all of the other good local Italian places in town this grocery store restaurant was not a high priority. (Though we were big fans of the long gone Tastings restaurant that was at the Pittsford Wegmans...)
With reservations in hand we ate here on a Friday night - we requested seats in the kitchen section so we could watch the action. This is a much better area than the section that feels like you are almost in the store.
We first got some drinks at the bar since the happy hour pricing was still in effect. I got their special

This spot is becoming a weekly staple. Happy Hour Monday - Saturday from 4-7pm. I'm a woman of consistency: wood fired Margherita pizza and water. (I save the wine drinking for home because the HH wine prices doesn't make me tingle.) The bar service is fast and friendly. I can be in and out in 25 minutes for a quick dinner.
(FYI - You can order to-go - - I don't because I like my pizza hot)

Great experience for our first time dining here. Food was very good perhaps could have used a pinch more salt or maybe a little bit of an acid in the sauce. The servers as well as the rest of the staff were very attentive a very pleasant experience. The prices aren't too bad for their lunch menu especially if you get the create your own pasta dish because it includes salad and a drink. Would love to come back again and try their dinner menu.

Another stellar example of why Wegmans is head and shoulders above their competitors. Amore is a beautiful restaurant serving delicious house made pastas and pizzas. We tried the mushroom and truffle pizza, pasta, and salads. Everything was fresh and flavorful.
If you're looking for a nice Italian lunch or dinner, give it a try.

We had an excellent first experience at Amore. Our server Ashley was wonderful; she was very gracious, attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. The food was also wonderful. Everything we ordered tasted very fresh, and we could tell that the dishes were thoughtfully crafted.
We ordered the octopus appetizer, which was very tender and flavorful. The pesto that accompanied the dish was bright and complimented the frisée salad very well. For dinner, I ordered the roasted chicken and it was moist and well-seasoned, with a great jus. That dish also came with a pesto, but this one had spring onions

Good food at great prices. I would say that each of the dishes I tried needed one thing more to make them great — a splash of acid, a bit more salt, etc. But I have no complaints at all. It was a tasty meal, and the wine prices were very affordable (they are half off on a certain night). We had a wonderful bottle of Brunello for about what I would expect to pay in a liquor store. It was a very nice evening.

Very nice dinner with attentive service . My only comment to Amore is please , give each person a wine list . We each get a menu why not
Give us each a wine list ? The sever comes over right away and asks for drink order before both of us have had time to look over the wine list . They were very nice , but I never understand why restaurants do this ? I had the mezzo pollo al forno
Which was nicely plated with roasted vegetables . I recommend it .

The food is pretty good. The location, not so much. I've had meals here twice now for both lunch & dinner. The ragu was great for dinner. Would absolutely recommend and order again if there. The lunch panini was almost too big to eat. Not like too much food but, impossible to eat like a sandwich. My jaw is not detachable and therefore could not take a proper "sandwich" bite.
I feel like this restaurant would perform better not being attached to the East Ave Wegman's. First of all, parking is an unpleasant experience in general there. They do have spots towards the front

Alright. Quick preface. My grandfather, Arnoldo Silvestri, came to America at age 8 from Monte Fiascone (small hill town outside of Rome). Growing up he taught me a lot, but he mostly taught me about good food.
At Amore, I ordered Spaghetti and Meatballs with pork sausage. Honestly, I ordered the dish because you can't call yourself Amore and have bad spaghetti and meatballs.
Holy wow am I impressed. 5/5 on this meal for several reasons. Everything is straight from Wegmans, top quality meat and sausage, spaghetti was fresh, I could tell. It's not often I go to an American - Italian

Like Breanna B., I also contended with the rating. I'm feeling magnanimous so I will stick with the 4 stars. Besides, I am not mad at Amore.
I came here with some fellow Yelp! girls for $1 oysters Monday. They did not advertise what type of oysters ahead of time, and on this particular night they were Chesapeake. Also on special was $6 Proseco. The mignonette that was served with the bottom feeders was a bit mild, but not bad and the presentation was very clean.
When the waitress read the specials to us I immediately was drawn to the pan seared salmon for $22. I ordered my fish medium

Yelp when are we going to get half Stars? I would like to give this place a 4.5, but I'm going to round it to 4. I feel like this place has gotten a crappy rep. We really enjoyed our time and are definitely coming back. The one thing I don't like about it is that they are closed on Sundays and their parking lot blows.
We randomly decided to go in on Monday and boy am I glad we did. They have Dollar oyster night on Mondays. There's also $6 glasses of Prosecco but I don't drink champagne. Their wine is priced as any other place, but you get the option of buying a half bottle and

Adam has really been wanting to come here but I have been resisting. Finally he told me he would pay making it free for me and I was there.
Living on East Ave. it was really easy for us to come here for our meal. There is specific parking spaces in the front of the restaurant just for them so you don't have to fight with the other shoppers for a space on that horrible parking lot. There are also take out spaces for it you would like to call ahead to take your meal home.

As I walked through the restaurant, the ambience was cozy and decor was pretty. We were seated on the second floor next to the stairs so I had a perfect view of the Wegmans cafe seating area. Yes, it's connected and open. They tried to create some separation in one of the rooms by adding fake vines along the clear glass, which looks pretty good if it wasn't for the the fact that you can still see everything else going on in Wegmans. Now, this is only one side of the restaurant. Upstairs they have a very nice room that can hold up to 10 for a private party. The room has a chandelier
