Hi and thank you for visiting. Here is a little about me and how I got here. I was born in northern Florida and grew up working on houses at a young age to begin learning the trades. I went to college in North Carolina where I was a property manager and started a construction company that I ran for several years.
Due to the uncertain circumstances we are facing with the virus, we are offering a better solution to a traditional home inspection. Don't show up! I wish there were 100 more stars! Doug was extremely prompt! We got him out within a few days of our request and he was on time (early, actually). He started with explaining how he works. He is open to questions before, during, and after (although we did try to stay out of his way so he could work faster). He was extremely thorough, knowledgable, and engaged with us. He definitely made us feel like our concerns were heard and never dismissive, no matter how silly a question seemed. He was also very honest, especially if we asked something he didn't know the answer to.

The owner of this business, Doug, cares. He takes the time to do his job thoroughly and provides a detailed analysis within his write-up provided to the client. I highly highly recommend Doug, not only because he's good at his job but also because he really cares. He understands the importance of his analysis and doesn't take that for granted, he takes the time to answer any questions on site in a manner that is very informative. I cannot thank Doug enough for his incredibly thorough and insightful inspection. He was very professional, friendly, and patient on educating us about our home and how to properly maintain it. We got the online report that same night, and we were very impressed. It was extremely detailed with pictures and descriptions of how to fix certain areas. It will definitely be used as reference for future renovations and repairs. If we ever need another inspection, I'll be sure to contact Doug again for his services.

Doug was highly recommended by our realtor, and we couldn't be happier with the pre-offer inspection he did for us when we bought our house. Old homes can have many hidden issues that can turn into a money pit later. Doug inspected very thoroughly the whole house, inside out, from crawlspace to roof, and he provided us with a very comprehensive, nicely structured inspection report. We used that report several times when we asked contractors to provide estimates for repairs.

I'm not one to usually leave a review, but Doug deserves all the five star reviews possible! Doug is extraordinarily thorough in his reports, knowledgeable in the process, passionate about the craft, and thoughtful in his follow ups. As a first time homebuyer the process can be extremely confusing and overwhelming Doug he was so patient and helpful to us and it truly made the world of a difference. Doug is a quality guy who does quality work and I would definitely recommend him for all your home inspection needs!

Doug is the very best! My husband and I had Doug do two home inspections for us - in both cases, he was patient, thorough, and made sure that we understood everything that he was doing. He took the time to educate us about our new home, and all of his inspections are followed up by an extremely detailed, and easy-to-read report. On top of this, he is just simply a really nice guy. Doug was our home inspector when we bought our house in May 2019. The market was hot, houses were getting sold in a matter of hours and we'd been looking for months, but we still didn't want to buy our first home without inspection. Doug is an amazing home inspector who I've worked with for the past almost 3 years now. He is knowledgeable about the construction of homes and how to maintain them. He is very communicative and easy to talk to.
