Eagle & Phenix has been a part of Columbus since early in our city history. Cotton milling operations began on this site when William H. Young established the Eagle Mills. In 1860 when Mr. Young absorbed the nearby Howard Factory, Eagle Mills became the second largest mill in Georgia. The Eagle Mills produced material for Confederate uniforms and other critical goods during the Civil War at the site of our present Mill #1.

Maintenance staff has always been prompt, efficient, and polite. Parking near sometimes gets tight at night but isn’t a huge issue. Laura is kind and helpful! When we moved in our apartment was spotless and ready for us to move in. I think it’s mainly from the quality of the structure, but we’ve barely heard any noise from neighbors, it’s great. We love living in such a great location, too!

Lived here for 18 months now. I agree fantastic place to live both for comfort, safety and beauty. Cherie and Laura are very professional and take great care of the tenants I still don't like the cable service they use however updated the rating to give this place a thumbs up for quality living in Columbus.

The absolute best place to stay in the Entire Columbus area! If you are single or an active couple without children, move here. It is located in uptown (a.k.a. downtown), literally on the river. Directly on the biking and running trail. Words cannot express how lovely this place is. The rent is a bit steep, but this keeps us all honest--we each take pride in our residence and we know each other.
The walls are NOT at all thin, the ceilings are 11 ft high. You get a view of the river. We get awesome discounts from time to time for eateries in uptown--randomly
