Please join us at our new location on the plaza for privates and small group training. Regular group classes will be added once our studio renovations are completed in the very near future. Pilates is a full body workout that educates, realigns, strengthens, lengthens, and balances the entire body.

It also helps build lean, flexible muscles. It increases coordination and improves body alignment and posture, while relieving stress and tension. Borrowing from disciplines such as dance, yoga, and classic calisthenics, the Mat Pilates Level 1 exercises are performed equipment-free. It is geared towards increasing your core strength, spinal mobility, pelvic control, and breathing.

Serving the Wine Country, including Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Napa, and the surrounding North Bay Area, Pilates Sonoma is committed to conducting high quality fitness classes to our dedicated members and guests.
We offer memberships for most budgets. Our schedules are designed to help you develop a consistent and powerful Pilates practice. Before participating in a Pilates reformer class, we highly recommend that people take one to two private sessions to get acquainted with the Pilates exercise methods and its terminology.
The traditional group reformer Pilates class is a full body workout that educates, realigns, strengthens, lengthens, and balances the entire body. It also helps build lean, flexible muscles. The Pilates method increases coordination, and improves body alignment and posture, while relieving stress and tension.
Start easy with the TRX Level 1 classes and build your flexibility, strength, core stability and balance. We'll set you up with the TRX suspension system and get you pulling your weight with customized exercises. As you move forward in this class, we'll take you through circuits that help improve your conditioning and increase your metabolic rate.
I'm new to Pilates, can I join a class? Of course! We are happy to help you learn the exercises and how to use the equipment. We recommend that newcomers to Pilates take a private session and start with the Reformer Pilates Level 1 class. May I participate if I have an injury or soreness?

In order to properly set you up with appropriate exercises or modifications, it is important to inform your instructor of any lingering pain, soreness or injury.If you have questions about your ability to participate in any exercise program, please speak with your healthcare professional. Well
1) they do not having a working telephone number
2) there is no email or FB way to contact them
3) I signed up and paid for a class with Eventbrite but could not attend and there was no way to contact this company
4) now it says they might reopen October 2021
Understand we are in a pandemic but come on have better communication as there are lots of Pilate companies to choose from

Love this studio! Clean, open, friendly. Great instructors. Pilates has changed my body and life in an powerful way. I love the mat, reformer and trx classes and am so happy this exists.

In the last year and a half, it's brought up my level of fitness 10 fold.

Covid update: I was worried about working out with a mask, but it's completely fine. They are taking every cleaning and safety precaution, so I feel safe and happy going back.

Wow - unexpected 12 on a 10 scale experience. Perry is such an AMAZING human.

I initially had no interest in taking a Pilates class. I came off of an injured knee that took over a year to heal and being currently overweight and not having maintained any sort of normal exercise, I was super hesitant, but Perry said I should give it a try.

She is absolutely wonderful. I've taken two private trainings with her ... for the first 20-30 minutes or so we talk through body mechanics and some extremely helpful foundational health-related items (that helped me to understand my body better and why

This is a studio that was much needed in Sonoma. Beverly and Perry have done a great job with scheduling, their instructors, and creating a really good atmosphere for an exercise community. There are variety of classes to choose from, at different levels. If you love Pilates, you will really enjoy joining the studio.

Well appointed, clean studio with excellent reformer machines. I really love the TRX classes too - it combines both strengthening with cardio and you can tailor the workout to whatever you need. Both Pilates and TRX workouts are fantastic while recovering from injuries. I love the friendly and caring instructors. A true gem in Sonoma.
