I often joke that DJ is borderline magical, but the enormous amount of change and growth she has helped me make in repairing my once-damaging and hurtful thought patterns has felt nothing short of miraculous.

In the yoga therapy I've developed over the last two decades, we do practice poses as a means to obtain physical health but also to sculpt specific, optimum mental health as well.
Harmony circle is more than a group: it's a movement, fostering and igniting patience, energy, love and kindness. You will leave the circle with tools you can continue to use for life. 2 live sessions via Zoom, to shake things up, wake up and live it up, meaningfully. Lives will be recorded and can be watched any time.

I was blessed to meet Ana in Boston and later on line when was back in Brazil. I can say that her practice helped me dealing with things that I didn't even know were bothering me. The feeling of relaxation an peace after each practice is amazing. I feel more centered, aware and balanced since I started practicing.

Taking part of Ana Mares Guia's Harmony Circle was a gift to myself, and what a gift! Ana's positive energy and guidance reminded me of the importance of a daily pause, the importance of taking time to myself. I feel replenished after each breathing technique or meditation practice that she so generously shares with us. Ana is a unique professional! She is “gifted” with the power of healing and does it in a very smooth way. I started with group sessions at her studio in Boston, where I could finally experience what yoga really is. Then I started weekly individual sessions with her, which simply transformed my life. Ana is awesome! Her knowledge and sensibility make her a great yoga therapist able to help her clients both emotional and physically! My daughter and I both had weekly sessions with her for almost 2 years in Boston. Each session we went she just knew what we needed and what to do to help us through a mix of therapy, yoga, meditation.
We both got huge improvement in our lives! We’re already missing her here in Boston but luckily she offers sessions through Skype! I highly recommend Ana for whoever wants to take care of their spirit, mind and body!

DJ is amazing. I've been doing yoga with her once a week for almost 3 years and I can wholeheartedly say I'm a very different person from having worked with her. She continues to help me recognize my gifts and my insecurities to become a better and better version of myself. Working with DJ is an whole life experience. Since my arrival in the USA 5 years ago I tried some yoga classes and some meditation classes too but I never felt so comfortable to go deeper. With Ana is totally different. Since the first time I met her I have always felt comfortable which for me is what counts the most. During her classes I never felt judged and I always felt free to be my self. Fantastic experience! We attended a Parent-Child Seminar on transitions and it was terrific! When your 7 year old child asks you, half way during the seminar, if we can do this again, you know he's enjoying it as much as you are!
Kids were respected with their own interests, need to take brake/s and snacks, guided kindly to the point that when DJ and Parents had a Question and Answer moment, the kids were enthralled in another activity and super happy, not feeling left out.
I've attended this Seminar and another adult one and can't thank D J enough!

My time with DJ started when she was teaching group Yoga lessons at a small studio in Roslindale - from there I have worked with her through Yoga Therapy on a number of issues along with recovery for a broken leg and a torn meniscus. I have found my moments of zen when I am with her and the healing and peaceful space she has created.

DJ was my prenatal yoga teacher 12 years ago. The week before I heard she had expanded her yoga therapy practice to include children, I was wishing for a more formal way to bring mindfulness of the body, and of thoughts and feelings, into my kids’ lives. I am a long-time student of DJ, and have found her to be warm, wonderfully calming, delightfully intuitive and insightful, and completely and compassionately honest. I happened to end up in a yoga class taught by Ana (Divya Jyoti) a few years ago and it was amazing. She was incredibly attentive to the needs of all of us students and really tailored the class to what we needed that day. I loved it. Since that class, I started doing private Yoga Therapy sessions with her on a regular basis and taking her group classes whenever she offered them. It has made a big difference for me. There's nothing like having someone dedicate an hour to really working with you. I have felt a big difference physically and emotionally (!) from working with her.
