We did not enjoy our stay here.
I wouldn’t call them pet friendly they just allow dogs to increase occupancy.
There is no parking garage or lot so it’s valet park only.
We weren’t told at any point the restaurant would be closed for breakfast and room service only for lunch and dinner on Thanksgiving so really left in a lurch.
The rooms are themed and that’s fine if you like that but, a lot of dusty fixtures above the bed didn’t work at all for our allergies.

I don't give anybody fives but I'm going to make an exception! It was an incredible time at the Inn at 500. Because of our 40th anniversary they upgraded us to a penthouse suite. An absolutely amazing night! The only hotel in downtown with balconies. You must experience this :-)

Newer downtown hotel which is clean, neat and quiet. Dog friendly, great valet service and attentive staff. The mediocre stars is due to us booking a needed mobility accessibility room but the TV did not work so we were moved to a regular room. We had quite a hike from the elevator to our room plus it was not equipped for me to use my walker. Additionally, I have never seen a toilet so close to the floor. Being tall does not help and we were very disappointed, to say the least. We won't return

Terrific location in downtown Boise! Easy walk to a Boise State football game. A nice boutique hotel that is a great addition to the city. And the dumbwaiter cubby makes room service easy!

We decided to stay downtown (Inn at 500) for our anniversary based on the hotel's reputation as the nicest in the state.
When we checked in the staff was courteous and everything seemed fine, however, when we walked into our $300.00 per night room it smelled like a kennel and the paint was scuffed in many places. For a new hotel charging a premium price for a mid-week stay it was extremely disappointing. We immediately went back to the front desk and asked to change our room for something more acceptable and were given the opportunity to pay an extra $170.00 (totaling $470.00) for a different

We stayed here a month ago and we loved it. Each room has a unique design. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfy. The service was awesome and love the free water, snacks and free drinks at happy hour. It has a good location to access downtown Boise. Overall, this is a great hotel in down town Boise.

Nice boutique hotel centrally located. Friendly and welcoming front desk staff. Will gladly stay again. Only negative was that Complimentary bike’s seat could not be adjusted by the hotel staff. We had to ride with low seats to a bike shop and borough an Allen key. Boise and the parks and the Blue Field of the Broncos was easy and very accessible for bike riding. Bikes were in good order.

Great hotel in downtown Boise. Stayed one night here on a recent visit to Boise. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean. They have complimentary water, soda and snacks. Check in and check out we're quick and easy.
Do not however that the parking is valet only, no self park but the valet staff were professional and quick.

Great Hotel. Great Location. Our room, balcony, and view of the Capital was perfect. The staff was friendly & awesome. We pre-ordered some snacks and wine for our arrival and it was in our room just as we had requested. This is an awesome hotel with first class service.

Very nice hotel. Wonderful location...easy walking to just about everything in the celebrated downtown area - parks, sights, eateries. Parking is valley only - $22/night. Restaurant & Bar on premises - Richard's - is very, very good. Free snacks, free water and other drinks at front desk. Enjoyed our stay very much. Recommended.

We stayed here only one night, but were very impressed by this hotel. It feels very modern and luxurious. The rooms are a good size, have lots of storage space, great bathroom, very comfortable bed and sheets. I love that their hallways have water stations to refill our water bottles. The restaurant Richard's is awesome (see my separate review of that). I just wish we had a better view from our balcony.

I wish we had more time to enjoy some more of the hotel. We got into town at 9:00pm and we were hungry and tired from driving all day from Reno, NV. And we needed to get up early and get on the road to beat the weather heading to Moscow.

This hotel is a classy modern hotel. Accessible balconies and room service, although we were to late for that. In fact the only restaurant we could find open in Boise after 9:00pm, was Old Chicago Pizza out on the mall.

The beds were extremely comfortable, and they have theme rooms with the King rooms on the 5th floor. Not sure if all the floors are like this

WOW............ best 4 hour stay of my life!!
I had booked my room through Expedia as a Christmas gift to my Girlfriend for a NYE staycation! I had booked us a king bedroom with balcony facing the city! What a great view to have for NYE!! That is not the case here. The case here is that the room we got first was a king bed with a city view no balcony. The room felt like a jail cell!! The window didn't even slide open just like a jail cell!! I call the front desk tell them when I booked my room was supposed to have a balcony. They tell me ok no problem sir we can fix that for you. I said great

We stayed here 3 nights on our 12 day road trip through Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. It is in an excellent location. We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping easily.

I was SO impressed with EVERYTHING!!! From the very friendly front desk employees to our room!! Very modern and high-end! Lots of storage space for our clothes. A nice fireplace added a very charming element! They have a long vanity in the bathroom with TWO sinks! Under the counter shelfs and DRAWERS to neatly put your things away! (A huge plus for me! I am a neat freak!!) A large walk in shower that had nice water pressure

We stayed for a weekend trip to get away from all the craziness. This was advertised as a luxury hotel. They definitely charge like a luxury hotel but the rooms are small regular size hotel rooms with a few extra amenities.
We got the spa suite and it we expected a larger room for what we paid ($425/night).
Pros- Spa was nice, bed was comfy, shower was nice, complimentary waters and snacks were appreciated.
Cons-Room size was too small for what we paid, deck was a bust with a view of a back parking lot, valet parking was awful, we wound up parking and retrieving our own car a couple of times

We stayed for 2 nights here over a gorgeous sunny weekend in June (during Pride). Found the property randomly on Booking.com and was impressed by the Yelp reviews. We had a fantastic stay from start to finish and would totally return here in the future.

We were on the 5th floor, standard King room (no balcony) overlooking downtown. We were able to see the Capitol building during the day, Pride fireworks at night, and the gorgeous morning sun hitting the rolling hills each day. Our room also had a fireplace and a little daybed by the window, which were extremely zen. Bed was luxuriously comfortable

Not every room is "special"... we stayed on the dog floor (floor 3) and there was no theme in the room. The room was nice though. I was told when I emailed the day prior that my room had a view of the capitol building however, it did not. It's too low to have that view. I had a view of the shell gas station and the gym at the hotel across the street at the Residence Inn.

Pros:
- free snacks in the lobby. We are talking water bottles, sodas, Cheetos, rice crispy treats, Doritos... it's a problem.
-valets are quick
-lots of grass around building for pets
- great location in
