I had the pleasure of spending two days in San Francisco. This is the place I chose as far as dining out. Both days I opted for chicken saag with rice. The flavor is impeccable. Doesn't take long for the food to come out, and it's piping hot. As far as value, this place is proof that you don't have to break the bank to eat good.

I spotted this place while walking toward Chinatown, and was intrigued by their cheap prices - they offer lunch specials between 11am-2pm on Monday-Friday with the cheapest being vegetarian lunch specials at $8. I ordered paneer korma for $10 and two orders of plain naan for $2 each (each order is 2 huge pieces of naan), and mango lassi for $4. The mango lassi was really sweet, thick, and creamy. It tasted like they used black pepper in the paneer korma, which was a nice touch; overall the paneer korma was flavorful and rich. I was surprised they weren't getting more business, especially given

I'm not extremely experience with Indian food but this was definitely worth the stop while traveling through. The best I had the Dal Makini. Rich flavor and an amazing blend of spices. The service was very welcoming and friendly. They also appear to have a great contact less takeout system. Will stop here again!

I placed an order on ubereats for samosas, wings + masala fries + coke, baingan bharta, and chicken korma. The food was estimated to arrive in an hour, and it arrived in about 50 minutes. The flavors for all of these dishes were great and there was plenty of food for two. Unfortunately took off a star because 1) our fries and wings were soggy maybe because they were in plastic containers vs the samosas that weren't and they were in a takeout box, 2) coke was forgotten, and 3) there was a questionable fiber in a samosa that could have been a strand of hair.

This place isn’t meant to serve your every need. It does only 2 things and does them extremely well. Produce amazingly flavorful food, quickly. For me the quality and attention given to the food they serve is so far above and beyond any other Indian place 5 stars are for food alone. I even cleaned up my table as an additional thank you.

Tried this place out on my visit to San Francisco we were at Fishermans wharf and walked here it was a nice evening and the walk took about 20 minutes.
We enjoyed a variety of different things on the day we visited. They did have a coffee bar or tea bar
. I did not use the restroom at this location so I'm not sure about the restaurants but they do have them.
Parking ... haha not sure because it's not easy to park in SF.
Food - we enjoyed it we got a lot.
Aloo chatt - soo good. Cooked well with lots of flavor
Chana Masala- had no salt but lots of other flavors small kick to it

Prefacing by saying this review is based on delivery orders.
Raavi has quickly become one of my go-to spots! The biryanis are that perfect mix of spiced rice with plentiful amounts of meat and you will easily find yourself with enough food for a meal and a half. The naan is fluffy and I really appreciated the attention to details on curries when indicating spice levels.
The prices are extremely reasonable as well and I will definitely be frequenting this place.

So I've been in SF for a minute but I was feeling very homesick. So naturally I went on the hunt for Indian food. To be honest I had just about given my quest for Indian food until I found this place. The previous few places I had visited were woeful.
Let's talk Raavi. Salt is an absolutely crucial ingredient to Indian food. Too much and it's indigestible but too less then you just taste the raw uncooked masala. These guys had it dead on. So that's the basics covered.
Elevating things to another level were their choice of ingredients and style of cooking. It was simple

Visited the place for lunch with friends. They have self service and seating both indoors and outdoors (single table, 2 seater). Staff was courteous and helped us make room for a 4 seater table outdoors.
Food was underwhelming. We got Masala chai, 3 chicken combos and 2 appetizers - chicken kebab and fish tandoori. Chicken curry and fish tandoori didn't taste great, the only items we liked were the rice, dal and mixed vegetables in the combo

I had a fish curry in person, and a few days later I got the daal makhani and paneer tikka masala delivered. Frankly, both times I felt the curries were too sweet and lacked flavor. The paneer for instance tasted like tomato soup. The daal floated in a lot of oil. The people are pleasant and doing their best, but I won't feel strong pressed to return given all the choices you have in the city.

We were introduced to Raavi through the Bentocart restaurant delivery service, which brings cold-packed takeout from SF all the way down to the Peninsula. We are so happy to know about this place!
My side of the family is from North India and very picky about Indian food - and damn, this is some of the best Indian takeout I've had anywhere. The flavors are bright and complex, and the portions are generous. Our go-to order is the "Dinner for 2" meal combo, which for $35 easily feeds two hungry adults and a preschooler with sizable leftovers for my lunch the next day.

Saw the reviews and walked in, but so so so utterly disappointed with the food.
I wonder why these restaurants name chicken and rice as Biryani, I hope they knew what authentic Biryani means. Upon suggestion, for appetizer was asked to order assorted appetizer which has lamb, chicken and fish.
I literally left the whole platter, and it’s a pay upfront restaurant, so did not even want to go talk to the person! Definitely never ever coming back!
