Nope, Pasta Fresca is a family-owned restaurant, born and raised in Forest Acres. We have been a part of the community for over 20 years, so we kinda know what we are doing. Over the years, our customers have been dining in for a quick bit, or to enjoy a glass of wine and pasta with friends. They have run in wearing PJ's to grab take out, or had dinner delivered to their homes.
They have come to celebrate accomplishments and mourn losses. We are extremely grateful to be a part of all of the important and everyday moments of our customers for so many years.

First time visiting this establishment, and I was not disappointed. It was very busy, so we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and had a bubbly personality. Unfortunately they were out of calamari, so we decided to pass on appetizers. I ordered the creole mex fettuccine. The portions were large and this pasta was very good. The sausage and shrimp mixed with the jalapeno cream sauce was perfect. My only complaint was that the pasta was slightly undercooked in some places. Other than that, we had a perfect experience and will return again.

A true Italian connoisseur will tell you, "It's all about the sauce".
This is true for Pasta Fresca. I don't particularly remember the name of the dishes that my wife and I got, but the sauces were amazing. And they were just as amazing if not better the next day when we had it again for lunch.
Service was great, even though the place was pretty crowded. We only had to wait a couple of minutes to be seated.

We were in town for a soccer game and pasta is almost always on the menu the night before a game. There were no reservations available so I called late afternoon to ask about typical wait times. I was told the wait was never more than an hour so instead of getting take out we decided to dine in. We arrived around 6:30 and were told the wait was 25 min. That was reasonable and we grabbed a round of drinks at the bar. We asked if we were allowed to take them outside and were told as long "as you don't sit down at a table." This seemed like an odd response since the tables were filled

Menu selection is vast, from drinks, appetizers to entrees, with combinations that will meet the needs of many. Flavor is good, drinks are poured well and prices are average. Certainly a must try for any pasta lover. They make a lot of kinds of pasta from scratch and you can build a dish to satisfy your pasta and protein needs!

Friendly staff quick and efficient service. Nice kid friendly options. Clean Nice restaurant tons of variety on the menu. I love that you can customize your own style of pasta and choose if you want spinach pasta. The dishes were plentiful and sauced perfectly. There is definitely enough for leftovers. Happy on a Saturday was a plus. Couldn't ask for a better mother daughter Saturday outing here at Pasta Fresca

My husband and I love a good date night at pasta Fresca .
The food is always amazing , however the best part about this place is Ellis .
She is an excellent bartender and we look forward to seeing her every visit .
We sit at the bar specifically so she can make our drinks and give us the best experience each time ,
She remembers our orders and she is just the sweetest person . Our favorite restaurant since we moved to Columbia !

I very rarely like to say someone deserves 5 star's because I try to be honest and realistic. But Laura (I hope I remember her name correctly) was very pleasant off the gate (which hugely impacted me and encouraged me to place my order). When I called the restaurant I had a hankering for pasta and specifically for ziti or penne.
Although, they do not serve either of these it's with good reason. They make HOMEMADE PASTA "yum!"

I love this restaurant but tonight I was so disappointed. Started out we ordered Our favorite the Creole Mex and Meatballs Spaghetti you can tell it was just throw together. In the notes of my order I wrote out to add Italian sausage to the creole Mex and they totally ignored my note. Why lie and said you all don't see massage in the note area. My thought is what's the point of having it on the order page if your not going to acknowledge it (This is coming from the manager mouth). Also both of entree's had more noddles then sauce which made it very dry. The creole mex was supposed

The waiting staff was excellent. The 2 whiskey and cokes I got were consistent and properly poured. The house salad was way better than I expected, as well as the tomato bisque. The pasta I got was the seafood Santa fe and it was amazing. Although I couldn't finished it because the salad and crab bisque were much more filling than I expected. Still one of the best if not the best pasta I have eaten.

I wasn't sure what I was craving but I had heard such great things about this Italian eatery. Primarily I was told they had a great dance/music time during the middle of the week. We did not experience this on my trip however, I will be back to try it out.

They have angel hair pasta. Including spinach angel hair pasta
They also have a sriracha marinara sauce.
The saladwas large and fresh and had an excellent dressing.
The garlic bread was going to d but would.have liked a crispier crust.
The sriracha saice on the angel haor was perfect! You like spicy? Then this is your sauce.

On the Columbia restaurant scene, Pasta Fresca is definitely at the top of the list. Located on Forest Drive, there is ample parking and it is easy to get to from downtown or off of I-77.
The menu is centered around their namesake which is a moniker they deserve as all pasta is made in house and they have a great variety of shapes, sizes and ingredients (ie spinach pasta).
I highly suggest starting with the Bruschetta for your meal -- theirs is literally insanely good. For an entree, I always stick to my tried and true here which is the Pasta Fresca Ravioli in alfredo sauce. It is stuffed with
