Currently offering over 100 different locations near UW Madison, to include Camp Randall Area, University Heights, Kohl Center, Vilas, and the Edgewood College area.
Although we are known as "Tallard Apartments", we specialize in large group rentals, offering many very large houses. A larger group of tenants in a single unit typically results in rent savings on a per person basis when compared to a smaller group of tenants in a smaller unit.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Tallard management! They were always very responsive when we had maintenance issues and fixed things in a timely manner. The maintenance crew was always so polite and nice. They have a very convenient online payment portal. The house we rented was taken care of well and was in great shape considering how old it was! I would definitely rent with them again.

As a UW-Madison student, I have experienced a variety of landlords in the regent street area. This being said, I have to say that Tallard was on a different level as far as customer satisfaction goes. Their response to maintenance requests was very timely, and the workers were always friendly and willing to go above and beyond. I was always able to talk to upper management during the week, and was treated like a person not a number. Tallard is probably the best apartment/ house rental company I’ve dealt with. They’re super efficient and extremely responsive. I’d like to give a s/o to Andrea, who has been nothing but helpful in certain situations of our lease. She has gone out of her way to be helpful and responds in less than 24 hours to any questions I had. Totally recommend Tallard apartments.

Imagine this. You call your landlord and ask to get something minor fixed, a leaky faucet, or a squeaky back door. The maintenance guys show up (who are lovely by the way), and the proceed to completely replace the floor in the kitchen, install a new light fixture, repaint the walls, stain the cabinets, clean out the air ducts, replace the toilets, re-caulk the bathroom, install a new ceiling fan, and install new blinds, completely of their own accord.
Tallard is awesome, best land lords I've ever had. The rent is fair, they communicate well, they allow you to live in until the next tenants come

I have rented from tallard the last two years and they really go above and beyond any landlord I have had previously. They go out of their way to help tenants and make sure they have a comfortable place to live. Also, everyone that works for tallard apartments is a pleasure to work with from maintenance to those that work the office!

Moved into one of their properties recently and the entire staff has been extremely prompt in their responses, the maintenance team of Gary and Steve are always a pleasure to see and they go above and beyond to fix every little detail of the house. Andrea is super responsive to questions, got a reply from an email in less than 15 minutes after I sent it. Can't recommend this management company enough, the service so far has been by far the best I've had.

So I've never written a Google review before, but after renting from Tallard exclusively based on their great reviews I figured I'd pay it forward to the next guy. Tallard genuinely does an amazing job, their properties are all fantastic and they are priced very competitively. Their maintenance staff is incredible (shout out to Gary and Steve) and will do just about anything to make your rental feel like home. New floors, new ceiling fans, new blinds, you ask it and they will likely do something to accommodate you. Their staff is incredibly responsive from the second we started looking for a rental

Tallard is the best to work with when finding housing in the Madison area for college students. I have never experienced a quicker response to maintenance requests and such friendly customer service. When we came into the office to sign our lease last fall, we were given pizzas and hot dogs and nothing but positive attitudes and smiles. We were new at renting a house as opposed to an apartment so you guys made the transition so easy and were more than willing to answer any questions we had!

I had the best rental experience with Tallard Apartments. They respond quickly to maintenance requests and Gary, one of the maintenance guys, fixed any other little thing he saw in my apartment that I didn't even request. They are very responsive and accommodating, especially if you are a good tenant! The staff is friendly and personable. If I still lived in downtown Madison, this would be the only landlord I would rent from.

Worst experience with a rental agency that I've ever had. They couldn't keep track of rent payments and utility bills which became a huge problem at the end of the lease term when they refused to give back our security deposit but couldn't provide any evidence of why. They claimed a former roommate of ours failed to pay 3 months rent and that we would have to pay it and sue him for the money. They never attempted to contact him, and when we finally did we found that he had actually paid all of the rent. They then looked back through their records and found that they had taken his

Very unhappy with this rental company. They were slow responding to maintenance requests, and often took shortcuts in the repairs, which required more maintenance to fix their mistakes. The office staff are not very friendly and refuse to own up to their mistakes. They were not sympathetic to issues within our house and made me feel like we were always their last priority. I do not recommend living with them.
