Located on nearly thirty acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains - deep in the heart of the Yadkin Valley of North Carolina - lies McRitchie Winery & Ciderworks. We are a family owned and operated winery and vineyard specializing in small lots of award-winning artisan wines and hard ciders. Our dedication to sustainable growing and low intervention winemaking has resulted in wines and hard ciders as expressive and distinct as the land whereupon the fruit grows.

Great vineyard, friendly staff, fantastic wines. We've visited McRitchie since they've opened and they never disappoint. One of our favs in the Yadkin Valley....

I feel the 15 price per person for a tasting is not proportional to the quality or quantity of the wine. I feel the whites were watered down. The most I've paid was in Saratoga NY at 12 for for 8 with a complimentary glass. The cider tasted like club soda. The server was nice. Best of all I got stuck by a yellow jacket. You might want to find the nest. If you read this review, a 10 dollar refund would be appropriate at a minimum

Waiter and view were great! When asked about any food, the guy said "they liked to focus on good wine and cider". Well, they should consider a new focus. The cider was more like club soda, white wines were watered down. The reds were ok. I paid for a Cherry Cider, didn't get it, but having tasted wife's, I considered that part of waiters tip. I can't recommend...

Came to McRitchie’s in 2019 had a great experience the staff was informative and incredibly nice. Went back this weekend and took our friends. We were greeted by a guy named Jessie. Tastings are still not available but you could do flights. He knew nothing about the wine and answered with I don’t really know. Was more interested in bashing the US and saying Spain was so much better. Completely rude and dismissive. We did see the owner and let him know.

Wonderful experience. Great wine. Nice intimate location. Polite and knowledgable staff. Going back in the fall to try out the ciders and watch the leaves change.

This is a great space and the wine is delicious. My husband and I stopped here on a chilly Sunday afternoon. The individuals that helped us gave us great recommendations and turned the heaters on for us to sit outside. We wound up purchasing a few bottles and a 4 pack of dry cider to take home. I will definitely come back!

We had a great wine experience in the tasting tasting room! Our server was great and explained everything in detail. He even recognized us from past visits and it had been a while (unfortunately) since we had visited.
We had some favorites. Of course Ring of Fire is always a favorite but the Falling Water took the prize in white wines in the area. We have enjoyed it with some garlic butter chicken and pasta. We also purchased a growler of hard cider which will come in handy during the quarantine.
