Mountain Lakes Bagel in Mountain Lakes, NJ has been in business since 1996 with original owners (and Mountain Lakes residents), Bob and Dawn. Bob has been in the pizza and bagel business for the last 40 years. Dawn also worked in a bagel store growing up in Queens as a teenager. These owners have some serious bagel skills! Make sure to stop by to see us on Route 46 in Mountain Lakes for our fresh daily bagels as well as sandwiches, wraps, salads, fresh coffee and more! We love our customers!

I'm not a coffee drinker but today I decided to stop and get a coffee because it was cold out, well I opted for a large decaf and let me tell you this was NOT decaf coffee! About an hour later I was jumping out of my skin with the jitters. Just so you guys know, we know it's not decaf. Also a little constructive criticism your Taylor ham and cheese sandwich, either add more Taylor ham or get a roll with less bread, I don't mind paying a little more for a quality sandwich.

I've tryed a lot of bagels in my day. Coming from Brooklyn. But I have to say, yours are some of the best I've had. Don't ever stop. 🙂

Not good. My sandwich is cold, there’s hardly any cheese on it at all, and almost nobody in the shop wears a mask (employees or customers). Not cool and not worth the money or the time.

Parking lot is small and usually busy in the morning. They have a good selection of beverages and bagels. Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a bagel was fresh, moist and delicious. Bacon, egg and cheese was pretty good too but bacon could have been slightly crispier. Ordering and paying don’t happen at the same time. Can be confusing when you first come here. Would come back!

Best bagels in Morris county— and beyond. They have hash browns too now! My favorite is, of course, Taylor ham eggs and cheese on a honey whole wheat. A few places locally have honey bagels but these are THE BEST of the best.
