Do people describe you as overly-energetic, forgetful, and spontaneous? Do you struggle with focus, completing tasks, or following through with responsibilities? If so, you might have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). ADHD affects children and adults, sometimes making it difficult to succeed academically or professionally.
It is a sad fact that even in homes where there is no hint of abuse or domestic violence, there may still be issues of abandonment or neglect. Because this kind of problem so often "flies under the radar" so to speak, it frequently remains unaddressed until its effects begin to negatively impact other relationships, sometimes years down the line.
Many people look forward to phasing into their "golden years" - a season in which they may be able to devote more time to leisure activities, enjoying grandchildren or serving in the community. However, the aging process can bring its own challenges and frustrations as well. Some people battle with age-related health concerns or don't manage to transition very smoothly into retirement.
Anger can be a necessary and useful emotion. It shows us that something is wrong and motivates us to take action. Expressing anger in a healthy way, directing that towards controlled and positive change, and then letting it go are all part of a healthy relationship with anger. When left unchecked, anger can lead to behaviors we later regret, often hurting others and isolating us from those we love.

For the past year Regina has been helping me face my anxiety, fears and showed me how to feel and understand my feelings. Each session she listens to my concerns and helps me better cope.
She is a caring therapist and I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs help and someone to sort out their problems.

I have worked with Dr. Gary Bell quite extensively in the past and have found his solution oriented therapeutic style to be motivating, challenging yet supportive. Good therapy also takes a good relationship, and a healthy dose of humor does not hurt. Dr. Bell provides all of the above, along with sound moral and ethical therapeutic boundaries. In the past I have not hesitated in referring clients to Dr. Bell. It is the Inland Empire's loss and the Seattle area's gain that Dr. Bell has relocated his practice.

Susan Goertz was absolutely wonderful. My boyfriend and I saw her for premarital counseling. She was very accommodating to our schedules, addressed our issues and gave us great advice for our future together. We left counseling feeling better about our relationship and ourselves. Susan has a very calming presence and genuinely cares about her clients.

Alyssa Kirkman is an incredible therapist. She is exceptionally bright and never ceased to amaze me with the personal research she would do for each client. You aren't just another "number" or random person in her presence... she truly cares about you as a person and everything she does when you are in her office (and even when you are away from her) reflects that. She is honest and it is so easy for me to trust and respect her--something I cannot say about many people. She is smart and can stick with anything said to her but she is amazingly humble too. I would, without a shadow of a doubt, recommend

Working with Mali not only changed my husband and I's marriage for the better, but it changed our lives. We were lost and stuck in a constant rotation that we never thought we could leave. Mali gave us the tools we needed to find ourselves, learn to love again, and to find security and peace within our marriage. We feel so incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to work with her, and would recommend her and Seattle Christian Counseling to anyone who feels that they are hopeless, stuck, or simply need someone to talk to.

I was unsure of what to expect because I have never pursued counseling outside of my church before. The atmosphere is very relaxed and hospitable. Pam is easy to relate to and provided a great explanation of the purpose of counseling sessions. I appreciated being able to converse freely with a fellow believer about topics in my life, and she was strategic about guiding the conversation without making me feel "on the spot". I also found value in not having to divulge all the nitty gritty details to a friend or church leader that might not be fully prepared to handle it.

My experience at Seattle Christian Counseling was excellent. I'd been to counseling previously and didn't know what to expect. Mali worked with me to better understand the stress in my life and to find healthy methods for dealing with and overcoming it. She was genuinely interested yet professional, methodic yet flexible. I appreciate the guidance she gave me and look back on the experience fondly!

I came to Seattle Christian Counseling in a low place, having difficulties with my self-esteem and marriage.
From the first time I met with Mali Hawkins, I instantly felt a connection that grew with every visit. During my time, I also had several traumatic events occur in my family that I was able to process through careful consideration, verbalization, and internal processing. When one of these events occurred, Mali even called me to talk about what had happened, a gesture that was not only touching, but extremely heartfelt and provided a great deal of relief.
I would recommend Seattle Christian

I have been in counseling with Chris Lewis for about a year and have continued my counseling with him at Seattle Christian Counseling. This process has been a life changing experience and I am extremely grateful that I started. This journey has been rough sometimes, and a lot of hard work but has always been worth it. I started counseling as someone who dealt with anxiety on a daily basis and struggled a lot with my childhood and family relationships. Through counseling, Chris walked with me through the hurts of my childhood, always looking at things realistically but never lacking grace. Since
